We booked a shark hunt but called and explained that it was my sons birthday and that if we were not catching shark if we could change to another type of fishing I was assured over the phone but when we got to the dock was told they didn’t get out in time for live bait We ended up catch one shark each but all day for one fish was not what we expected Especially when we ask even after I boarding if we didn’t catch a shark soon if we could switch And still the same response was no bait Just disappointed

The deck hand started throwing up 30 min. into the trip, and all of the other shark hunts we followed the shrimp boats and caught a lot of sharks. The captain of the other boat said they didn't want to do it because it was to much work. The captain on our boat was very nice just a little inexperienced.

Mike seemed knowledgeable and gave us a nice tour at the end but we expected to fish behind a shrimp boat and instead went fishing off the Jetty. My brother in law went with another charter the same day but in the afternoon and they caught a ton of fish which makes me think I hired the wrong charter. It was rough out at sea and several of us ended up getting sea sick. My brother in laws charter was in the same rough sea but no one got sick because their captain had a bigger boat and from what I understand they were able to go places we couldn't because their captain had the right equipment. My cousin went with Brady and they fished next to us (not behind a shrimp boat like we were told). When we arrived on the dock, their captain hadn't filled his boat with gas yet, which is disappointing that he wasn't prepared for our trip. We traveled 12 hours to specifically go on this trip and I wouldn't do it again with either captain due to the results we received.
