Moshi – Tarangire National Park

Mount Kilimanjaro - Following breakfast, travel to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch.

The park features natural vegetation primarily composed of Acacia woodland and towering African Baobab trees, along with expansive swamp areas in the south. During Tanzania’s dry season, both the river and swamps attract a multitude of wildlife. Tarangire National Park is renowned for hosting some of Africa’s largest elephant herds.

This African National Park also shelters three rare animal species – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, and a few Ashy Starlings.

Ngorongoro Crater

Mount Kilimanjaro - After breakfast, proceed to Ngorongoro Crater with a packed lunch, and enjoy a full day of game viewing in the crater.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in Africa, home to approximately 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos.

With a constant water supply and ample food, the crater supports a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another major attraction of this scenic national park is its large population of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed on the crater floor.

In the late afternoon, return to Arusha/Moshi.
