• Shanghai - 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Hotel Pick-Up and Journey to Zhujiajiao Water Village
  On the morning of the tour, the guide will meet participants in the hotel lobby around 8:00 AM, holding a sign with the China Highlights / Trippest logo and the participant’s name. Present the confirmation letter, and the guide will escort participants to the vehicle.

• Zhujiajiao Ancient Town - 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Explore Zhujiajiao Water Village
  Historically, Zhujiajiao (/joo-jyaa-jyaoww/) was a bustling trading hub, with its numerous canals used for transporting goods via small boats and barges. Boats remain a charming feature of the area. Small boats are prevalent, offering a delightful way to view the town and experience local life. Refer to the cruise guide on Zhujiajiao for more details.
  Taking a gondola ride on the waterways is recommended to enjoy a unique perspective of the old town at a leisurely pace. The group size ranges from 3 to 10 people, providing flexibility. If additional time for photography or more information on history and architecture is desired, simply inform the guide.

• Zhujiajiao Ancient Town - 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Lunch at a Local Restaurant (Not Included)

• Shanghai World Financial Center - 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Ascend the World Financial Center
  In the afternoon, travel by car for 1 hour to the World Financial Center and ascend to the 100th floor for breathtaking city views.

• The Bund (Wai Tan) - 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Walking on the Bund
  Next, participants will be driven to Shanghai’s top scenic spot - the Bund. It is a stunning promenade along the Huangpu River. Across the riverside street, some of the most distinctive and remarkable colonial-era buildings can be seen.
  To ensure a comprehensive experience, the guide will provide an in-depth introduction while walking on the Bund. A map will highlight the 17 most representative buildings, documenting Shanghai’s architectural history. Participants will gain not only photos of new buildings but also insights into the history and historic images of its colonial past.

• Shanghai - 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Transport to Your Hotel or Onward Transport
  At the tour’s conclusion, participants will be transferred to their hotel, or assistance will be provided for those needing to catch a flight or train. Please inform us of any such requirements.
  Returning to a hotel in Shanghai typically takes about 20 to 30 minutes, as does reaching a Shanghai train station. Direct travel to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport usually takes about 1½ hours, while 2 hours is needed to reach Pudong Airport from the Bund.
  Participants should arrive at the airport 1½ hours before a domestic flight or 2½ hours before an international flight. Please provide departure times when booking and remind the guide, so arrangements can be made accordingly.
