If you're going to China, book your tours with Jenny's Shanghai Tours! - My husband and I booked a private tour with Jenny's Shanghai Tours in October 2025. Everything was great, and I highly recommend this company! Originally I was going to use Jenny for Shanghai only, but after corresponding with her a few times, I realized that it would be better if I just booked everything through her and it was the best decision! We booked our own flights and hotels (using her recommendations), but everything else was booked through Jenny. A driver picked us up in at the airport, we did a tour of Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Zhujiajiao, then we took the bullet train to Beijing (she got the tickets for us), we toured Beijing and the Great Wall and then a driver took us to the airport. Everything was expertly arranged, and I paid for the tour in advance with no issues. Simply stated, if we go back to China we will use Jenny's services for any of the cities she offers. You can trust this company! The tour guides we had were excellent! In Shanghai, we had Apple. She is so lovely and enthusiastic! We were tired from travel, but her enthusiasm was infectious, and we had wonderful days with her! Apple sees beauty in everything around her, and she is an incredibly talented iPhone photographer - she took beautiful photos of us at all the sights. In Beijing, we had Jason for one day (Beijing highlights) and Susan for one day (Great Wall of China and Ming Tombs), and both of them were excellent! We especially liked Susan because she was so patient and flexible and had a great sense of humor. Susan also took awesome photos of us at the Great Wall! I'm very glad that we used Jenny's Shanghai Tours for our trip to China!

Perfect tour guide - We had a very nice day with our guide Troy. He was aware of everything and very friendly. He took us over the afternoon for a local lunch which was nice and tasty. The driver always dropped us off at the place to visit and picked us up in the neighborhood again which was very convenient as it was very hot. I would definitely recommend this if you are in Shanghai.

Wonderful day in Shanghai - My wife and I took the tour in April. The process was seamless and Jenny provided detailed communications on what to expect. We had a wonderful local guide, Joyce. She was friendly, knowledgeable and showed us the top spots in Shanghai. Great mix of cultural sites along with the requisite tourist shopping spots. Wonderful day. Highly recommended.

Wonderful family trip in Wuzhen, Suzhou and Shanghai with Grace & Jenny's Shanghai Tours - This is the second time I am using Jenny's. For this trip, I was with my mother and my 2 siblings, and we engage Jenny to organize a 3 day tour of Wuzhen, Suzhou and Shanghai. We have the pleasure of having Grace as our guide for these 3 days. I have to say Grace was a cheerful, enthusiastic and very accommodating guide. She was a wealth of information on China's history and geography. Always smiling, she was patient with all our needs and changes. Having a 70+ senior in our group means having to pace our walking, with plenty of toilet breaks. Even with detours, Grace would be telling us stories and the background of each destination, whether it is a hotel or a busy street. For instance, I have been to Shanghai several times and I have never entered the old HSBC building and Peace Hotel, but because we needed a break, we were glad that Grace brought us in as the buildings interior were magnificent as Grace pepper us with the history. In Suzhou, it was a Sunday and the embroidery workshop was not open, but Grace persuaded the staff to let us peek into the work area so we could see some of the remarkable work in progress. On average, we walked more than 10,000 steps a day, even with my mum in tow. It does not feel hurried, as Grace allowed us to go at our own pace and always seemed to know where to go should we decide to skip any pre-set itinerary. She made sure we were comfortable throughout the journey, always getting the driver/car ready in advance so we need not wait a long time to go to the next spot. T We would certainly recommend Grace highly for anyone looking to have a good time in Shanghai.

Incredible Shanghai with Cathy and Jenny - Last day in China as we head home on a 8pm flight. Jenny arranged to pick us up at our hotel mid-morning and filled our day with incredible memories with our host Cathy. We started the day with a visit to St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Designed by English architect William Doyle, and built by French Jesuits between 1906 and 1910, this cathedral is said to have once been known as "the grandest church in the Far East”…and we agree. Then off to our last temple tour of this trip…Longhua Temple is the oldest temple in Shanghai and was first built in 242 AD. Because of its destruction by the wars, most of the buildings were reconstructed during the reign of the Emperor Tongzhi and Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty. It features a unique Bell and Drum tower, multiple halls and is the largest temple in Shanghai occupying over 5 acres. This is truly a stunning temple and we had lots of time to explore. Cathy took us to lunch at the famous Jia Jia Tang Bao...they have been making handmade dumplings since 1986. No visit would be complete without a Huangpu River Cruise…day or evening. Amazing views of both the old and new Shanghai skylines and it was a gorgeous day...clear skies. We then went to Fuxing Park which is located in the former French Concession. It was once the largest park in Shanghai and laid out by the French in 1909. About 10 hectare (25 acres) in size. It features a lake, fountains, covered pavilions, and lots of flowerbeds. Early morning, the park fills with dancers, card players, mahjong enthusiasts, tai chi and artists. If you want an incredible experience in Shanghai that starts from the booking all the way through execution, go with Jenny's Shanghai Tours.
