Great choice for Shanghai layover! - I would really recommend this tour! We were met at the airport right on schedule by our driver and he drove us into Shanghai where we met our brilliant guide Ling - Ling had lots of ideas on how we could spend our day in the city and chatted with us to see what kind of sights/ experiences we wanted. She was super helpful and a really warm personality - we really enjoyed spending the day with her! We fitted lots into the day (Jade Buddha temple, Shanghai Tower, old town near Yu Garden, got to try yummy food and then see the famous skyline at the river - thanks Ling!

Shanghai with Sunny Tours and Sarah - an absolute highlight - Shanghai is a fascinating city and definitely worth a visit. If you have a stay of several hours at PVG Airport, you should not miss the opportunity and book a guided tour of the city. Sunny Tours has organized everything perfectly in advance and communicated very friendly and professionally. We were picked up at the airport on time at the agreed meeting point by a driver with a luxury electric limousine that was available to us for the entire day. Our guide Sarah speaks excellent German and has an extensive knowledge of the history, culture, religions and modern city of Shanghai, which she shared with us in a very entertaining way. Sarah responded to our wishes, found great photo motifs for us and asked about our preferences for a lunch for which she chose a traditional restaurant that offered super delicious food at a fabulously reasonable price. The day was beautiful and felt not like an organized city tour, but like a day in Shanghai with a friend who showed us her favorite places and shared everything she knows about them with us. The hours passed like in flight and we were again driven wonderfully comfortably to the airport in the evening, from where we could board our flight home. This trip was a real highlight after a four-week holiday to New Zealand and so much more than just a layover. We are glad and grateful that we chose Shanghai with Sarah and Sunny Tours. Thanks for that! ❤️

Outstanding Shanghai tour with Robert — knowledgeable, perfectly organized, great locations, and excellent driver. Highl - I had an absolutely fantastic experience in Shanghai thanks to Robert! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. He is incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts and stories that really brought each location to life. I was very happy with all the places he showed me— every stop was beautiful, well-planned, and worth seeing.
Special mention also goes to the driver, who was excellent and made the whole journey smooth and comfortable.
Robert truly went above and beyond, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Shanghai.

A well tailored, flexible tour, with an excellent guide and comfortable transportation. Good value for money, don’t miss - It was a well organised trip, with the driver waiting for me at the airport, he dried me to Shanghai in a huge very luxurious car. My tour guide Roy greeted me in town hand ha revised a fantastic tour based on my interest ( history, culture, architecture) driver picking us up and dropping off at every attraction. ( my hand luggage safely in the back of car during the whole tour).
Highly recommend the tour flexible interesting, tailored to my needs with a very knowledgeable, friendly guide.

Shanghai Tour with Cecilia Guide - Shanghai tour, 1/13/2026, fantastic!
Our guide CECILIA was really very good: very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Shanghai, she was able to let us discover both the most iconic places and less touristic aspects of the city. Clear explanations, perfect rhythm and great willingness to answer questions. Thanks to her the tour was interesting, pleasant and well organized. Highly recommended!

Shanghai in a day - We had a one-day layover tour in Shanghai in January 2026 and had a great time. Feifei, our guide, showed us the main highlights and shared great insights about life in the city. Seeing Shanghai’s night lights was fantastic. The company also provided prompt airport pick-up and drop-off in a luxury SUV, which made the experience very comfortable.

The best tour ever in China - I had a one-day tour in Shanghai - China on 1st January 2026, and I was extremely lucky to have such an amazing guide. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the day. Everything was well organised, and he made sure I was comfortable, informed, and enjoying every part of the experience.
What really stood out was his friendly attitude and calm approach — he made the tour both enjoyable and stress-free. I learned so much and truly appreciated his effort and dedication.
I highly recommend him to anyone visiting China and looking for a reliable, professional, and personable tour guide. Thank you for making my trip so memorable!

Tour senza pensieri - It was a wonderful tour thanks to the guide, Tianshu, who we discovered, studied Italian directly in Italy, so it was easier for us to understand the explanations. Having a driver at our disposal was a convenience because we could leave our backpacks and tour around at our leisure. If you have a few hours to spare, we recommend this tour because you don't have to worry about anything; they'll take care of everything and show you both the oldest and most modern parts.
