The garden spans 2 hectares and features rockeries, pavilions, ponds, and corridors. Wander through the decorative and serene landscapes with a camera in hand, and learn about the garden’s history.

• Former French Concession - To maximize time exploring iconic landmarks while conserving energy, enjoy a scenic drive through the picturesque French Concession. Travel along Wukang Road, which extends 1.17 kilometers. Originally constructed in 1907, the road exemplifies the typical garden-style residential complex of the French Concession. Lined with plane trees and early 20th-century European-style buildings, it was once home to many celebrities.

• The Bund (Wai Tan) - Continue with a walk along the Bund, a 1.5-kilometer-long embankment on the western bank of the Huangpu River. The west side is an “architecture gallery” with 52 well-preserved old European-style buildings. Once the main trading and commercial hub of old Shanghai, the Bund now thrives with modern developments, chic restaurants, upscale shops, and bars, offering plenty to see and do. • Shanghai Tower - From the Bund, visit the Shanghai Tower, China’s tallest building at 632 meters. Opt for a panoramic 360-degree view of the city from the observation deck (additional cost). Please note that visibility may be affected by poor weather.

If you prefer to admire the exterior of the Shanghai Tower, the guide will return you to the hotel at the end of the tour. If you choose to visit the observation deck, the guide will assist with ticket purchases, after which the tour concludes.
