1. Yu Garden
The tour begins at the Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel. After introductions, the group will venture into the city’s oldest streets, arriving at the Yuyuan Garden, which spans 20,000 square meters. Ready to explore the Ming and Qing dynasties? Participants will wander through winding paths, discovering pavilions and small hills. Additionally, there will be opportunities to cross bridges and admire the lotus ponds that fill Yuyuan Garden. The tour will then proceed to Yuyuan Bazaar, where numerous shops offer the most typical products of Shanghai.
2. Jade Buddha Temple
The second stop on the guided tour of Shanghai is the Jade Buddha Temple, one of the city’s most iconic sites. Visitors will explore areas such as The Great Hall, the Chamber of the Four Heavenly Kings, and the Jade Buddha statue. Here, several Buddha statues made of jade, gold, and precious stones can be admired.
3. Nanjing Road (E)
The group will head to a local restaurant to enjoy a lunch featuring a soft drink and traditional dishes to share, followed by a stroll along the pedestrian street Nanjing Road.
4. The Bund
Next, the tour will proceed to the Bund, one of the busiest areas, offering unique views of the Pudong skyscrapers, known as the Wall Street of the East!
5. Shanghai Tower
Finally, the tour will explore the Lujiazui financial area, renowned for its numerous skyscrapers, and arrive at the Shanghai Tower, a city icon! The tour will conclude here, approximately eight hours later.
