• Humble Administrator’s Garden - Upon arrival, you will immediately be guided to explore the Humble Administrator’s Garden, a classical garden filled with elegant scenes. Located in the northeast of Suzhou, this garden is the largest and most famous classical garden in the city. With a history spanning over 500 years, it was originally constructed during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) with exquisite and quaint designs, becoming a symbol of Chinese private gardens. From a panoramic view, the Humble Administrator’s Garden is divided into eastern, western, and central sections, each featuring lush greenery, blooming flowers, delicate galleries, long corridors, and unique buildings.
• Suzhou Village - Next, you will enjoy a sightseeing tour through the old town of Suzhou. While riding a tricycle, you can admire the ancient structures that have stood the test of time within the historic district.
• Tongli Town - After lunch, you will be taken to the Tongli Ancient Town. With its rich history and careful preservation, Tongli offers a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the allure and charm of a water town along the Yangtze River in China. Tongli is a picturesque and historic town interwoven with a network of waterways. Visitors can see 49 ancient bridges and 7 small isles divided by the rivers and their branches. As you stroll along the flagstone paths around Tongli Town, you will notice that nearly all the traditional homes are built at the water’s edge, with many boats docked in front. The classic Retreat and Reflection Garden (Tuisi Garden) is a highlight, with nearly all its buildings situated by the jade-like pond.
