• The Bund - The tour guide will meet the group at the hotel at 9:00 a.m. and then proceed to the Bund. Visitors will admire 26 diverse buildings of various architectural styles, including the Peace Hotel (Heping Fandian), Shanghai Customs House, and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank. • Yuyuan Old Street - Historically known as Miaoqian Dajie, Shanghai Old Street is a historic business street that combines tourist attractions, shops, entertainment, and cultural exhibits. • Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - Later, the group will tour Yu Garden, initially constructed in 1559 during the Ming Dynasty by Pan Yunduan as a retreat for his father, Minister Pan En, in his later years. Pan Yunduan began the project after not passing an imperial exam, but his appointment as governor of Sichuan delayed construction for nearly two decades until 1577. Yu Garden, though small, encompasses all the elements of a classical Chinese garden, including pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds, and cloisters, each with distinct features. The garden is divided into six areas, each with its own unique style.

Next, the group will head to M50 Creative Park.

• M50 Creative Park - Situated in the distinctive industrial buildings of a former textile mill, M50 Creative Park hosts a significant collection of contemporary art galleries, cafes, and craft shops. • People’s Square - Located at the heart of Shanghai, People’s Square serves as the dividing point between East Nanjing Road and West Nanjing Road. It is a bustling area for exploration. Before 1949, the site of People’s Square and People’s Park was a renowned horse racetrack, built in 1861 and known as the ‘No.1 Racetrack in the Far East.’ Visitors can still find remnants of the former main building in the northeast part of People’s Square. The area features many scenic spots, including the new Municipal Government Mansion, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Grand Theater, Shanghai History Museum, and the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall.
• Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan) - Situated in the center of Shanghai at People’s Square, the Shanghai Museum is a large museum dedicated to ancient Chinese art. Its design and presentation immerse visitors in artifacts that reflect ancient wisdom and philosophy. The museum’s round dome and square base symbolize the ancient concept of a round heaven and a square earth. It comprises eleven galleries and three exhibition halls, covering major categories of Chinese art: Ancient Bronze, Ancient Ceramics, Paintings, Calligraphy, Ancient Sculpture, Ancient Jade, Coins, Ming and Qing Furniture, Seals, and Minority Nationalities.

The group will then transfer to Pudong to explore Shanghai’s financial district and visit the Shanghai Tower.

• Pudong New Area - As a vibrant and modern district, Pudong offers visitors cutting-edge attractions, businesses, skyscrapers, and shopping malls, all showcasing the latest in entertainment, technology, and fashion. The group will walk along the Lujiazui Ring Bridge, an excellent spot for photographing skyscrapers.
• Shanghai Tower - As Shanghai’s new landmark, the Shanghai Tower stands as the tallest building in the city, reaching a height of 632 meters. The 118th floor features the world’s highest indoor observation deck, known as the ‘Top of Shanghai Observatory.’ Visitors are encouraged to explore the exhibition hall on floor B1 first, then take the express elevator to the 118th floor in just 55 seconds, with a speed of 18 meters per second. From here, a panoramic view of Shanghai awaits. There will be time to admire the scenery on both sides of the Huangpu River from the 119th floor. If the weather permits, a stunning sunset may be visible.
