• Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan) - Guests will be collected from their centrally located Shanghai hotel lobby by a private English-speaking tour guide at 9:00 am. The tour begins with a visit to the Shanghai Museum, situated at People’s Square in the Huangpu District. This museum is renowned for its exceptional collection of ancient Chinese art.
• Jade Buddha Temple - The next stop is the Shanghai Jade Buddha Temple, a remarkable attraction in the city. It remains an active temple with 80 resident monks. Afterward, guests will enjoy lunch at an authentic Chinese restaurant, followed by a visit to a pearl gallery and silk museum for some shopping.
• Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - The tour continues to Yu Garden, a renowned classical garden in downtown Shanghai. Completed in 1577 by Ming Dynasty official Pan Yunduan, “Yu” in Chinese signifies pleasure and satisfaction. The garden is a masterpiece of art, blending various elements to create a miniature world. With its skillfully arranged pavilions, corridors, and small hills, it offers a serene and elegant atmosphere, surrounded by ancient trees and beautiful flowers. Visitors can explore curio shops in the Cuixiu Hall. The tour concludes with a return to the hotel.
