Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall - At the Exhibition Hall, visitors can explore various textual and graphic files and architectural models, providing a comprehensive understanding of Shanghai’s development.
The Exhibition Hall highlights Shanghai’s urbanization and modernization. Visitors will learn about Shanghai’s history and current state through city miniatures and extensive city planning materials. High-tech methods are used to project Shanghai’s blueprint through 2020.
Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - Next, enjoy a leisurely stroll in the picturesque Yu Garden. Situated in the old town, Yuyuan Garden is the city’s most famous ancient site, known for its clever layout and intricate architecture. The garden’s treasure, Yu Ling Long (an exquisite jade stone), an artificial hill, is one of the three most renowned peaks in Southern China.
Yuyuan Old Street - Then, visit the Yuyuan Bazaar, also known as Yuyuan Market, located outside Yu Garden in the heart of Old Shanghai City, near the Old City God Temple. Traditional Chinese buildings now serve as commercial stores selling local products, snacks, jewelry, souvenirs, antiques, and more.
Shanghai World Financial Center - Afterwards, head to the Shanghai World Financial Center and ascend to the 100th floor for panoramic city views. It is the world’s 8th tallest building and the 4th tallest in Mainland China. The 100th floor features a 55-meter-long viewing gallery, the second highest observation deck in China, surpassing the Canadian TV Tower (447 meters) and the Dubai Tower (440 meters).
The Bund (Wai Tan) - Next, visit the Bund area, a quintessential part of Shanghai. Located on the Huangpu River bank, visitors come for the charming riverside scenery and the unique western and gothic architecture. Free time will be provided to explore the Bund and take photos.
Shanghai - Finally, guests will be driven back to their hotel, or they may enjoy their own time at nearby Nanjing Road.

Zhujiajiao Ancient Town - Zhujiajiao water town is renowned nationwide, with a history of over 1,700 years. Covering 47 square kilometers (11,614 acres), the fan-shaped town, known as Shanghai’s Venice, shines like a pearl amidst lakes and mountains. Visitors will explore Kezhi Garden, Qing Dynasty Post Office, and Fangsheng Bridge with their tour guide.
Jade Buddha Temple - After lunch, guests will visit the Jade Buddha Temple. Built in 1882 for two white jade Buddha statues from Burma, the temple is a famous Buddhist shrine and active Zen monastery. It plays a significant role in spreading Buddhism through cultural means, including lectures, library services, Buddhist academic publications, and regular cultural activities.
Tianzifang - Later, the tour concludes at Tianzifang, an old-style cultural block featuring distinctive Shikumen buildings with art studios, themed cafés and bars, and handicraft workshops.
Pudong International Airport - At the end, the guide will escort guests to Shanghai Pudong airport for a flight to Chongqing. They may take the HU7407 20:20–23:30, a 3-hour flight.
Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport - Upon arrival in Chengdu, guests will be picked up promptly and transferred to the hotel (Driver only, no guide).

Chengdu - In the morning, the driver and guide will meet guests at 8:00 AM at their Chengdu hotel and transfer them to Chengdu Panda Base, a 30-minute, 15km drive.
Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - First, visit Chengdu’s Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, home to over 80 iconic pandas, including the familiar black and white variety and the lesser-known red pandas.
Visitors will observe the pandas eating and playing in a habitat closely resembling their natural environment. They will also learn about scientists’ and ecologists’ efforts to protect the remaining wild pandas and expand the captive population. Over 100 bears have been born at the Base since 1987.
The Base gained importance after the 2008 Sichuan earthquake, with eight bears relocated here from the damaged Wolong reserve. The visit supports ongoing conservation efforts both morally and financially.
Chengdu Renmin Park - Next, visit Renmin Park, a comprehensive garden for cultural heritage and entertainment. Locals often relax here by drinking tea. To truly understand the “Capital of Leisure” lifestyle, one must visit Renmin Park. Crowds gather in the park’s shade from sunrise. Enjoying a slow life in Chengdu, visitors may feel a sense of happiness.
Jinli Pedestrian Street - After lunch, take a private car to Jinli old street for an impressive trip to the famous old street. Time seems to slip away while walking the lively streets filled with delicious local snacks, delicate artifacts, and interesting folk shows.
Chengdu - At the end, the guide will escort guests to their hotel.

Chengdu - After breakfast at the hotel, the driver and guide will meet guests at the hotel lobby at 09:00 AM and transfer them to Leshan, a 2.5-hour, 150km drive.
Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo) - Dating from the 8th century, the Giant Buddha of Leshan is the largest carved stone Buddha and the tallest pre-modern statue in the world. It was carved from Lingyun Shan cliffs to calm the turbulent waters of the three rivers flowing beneath it. Stairs carved into the cliff connect the Buddha’s feet with the land above, offering various vantage points. Views are stunning over elbows and knees, taking in the river scene and Leshan’s skyline.
Upon arrival in Leshan, guests can have lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Giant Buddha. They will then explore the Buddha and enjoy fantastic views of the surrounding landscape from atop the Buddha’s head.
Visitors will also visit Lingyun Temple and Museum to gain deeper insight into the history of this amazing Buddhist site and learn the story of the Giant Buddha’s carving.
成都站 - Afterwards, take a private car back to Chengdu East railway station and board a bullet train to Xi’an. They may take D1950 18:07–22:18, a 4-hour train ride.

Xi’an - In the morning, the tour guide will meet guests at their Xi’an hotel lobby at 9:00 AM and transfer them to the Terracotta Warriors Museum, an 80-minute, 45km drive.
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Tickets are reserved online in advance, and the guide will help guests skip the line at the Museum entrance. Following the guide, guests will explore the Terracotta Warriors Museum by visiting the three excavated pits and the Bronze Chariots and Horses Exhibition Hall. Despite being buried for over 2,200 years, the clay warriors and horses remain vivid with distinct appearances. Guests will spend at least two and a half hours exploring this amazing site.
Small Goose Pagoda - Next, transfer to Small Wild Goose Pagoda, located inside Jianfu Temple, about one kilometer south of Xi’an city proper. It is one of two famous and important Buddhist pagodas erected in the Tang Dynasty about 1,300 years ago. Small Wild Goose Pagoda and its larger neighbor, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, are two important Buddhist sites dating back to the Tang Dynasty, 1,300 years ago.
The two pagodas symbolized Chang’an (Constant Peace) city. Xi’an (West Peace) was called Chang’an until the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), when Beijing became China’s capital. Chang’an served as the capital for ten dynasties.
Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - After lunch, transfer to the city wall. Guests can walk or cycle around the wall, with bike fees paid locally if they choose to cycle.
The first landmark visitors encounter in Xi’an is the ancient City Wall, which encircles the old city. It is one of Xi’an’s most famous attractions. Today, the wall represents one of the oldest and best-preserved Chinese city walls and one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.
Muslim Quarter - The last stop is the Muslim Bazaar, the city’s most thriving area. If interested, guests can explore the bazaar at their own pace and return to the hotel independently. The guide will provide directions for returning to the hotel. The Great Mosque and the Bell and Drum Tower Square are within walking distance of the Bazaar. There are many boutique stores at fair prices in the Bazaar and numerous excellent dining options for dinner.
Xi’an - At the end, the guide will escort guests to their hotel.

Xi’an - In the morning, the tour guide will meet guests at their Xi’an hotel lobby at 8:30 AM and transfer them to Hanyanglin, a 30-minute, 15km drive.
Tomb of Emperor Jingdi (Hanyangling) - The Hanyangling Mausoleum is on the site of the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi, built in 153 AD. With the guide, guests will closely examine the thousand-year-old tombs through glass floors and walls in the tomb pits. Additionally, the advanced Spectra Vision program will recreate the real life of the Western Han Dynasty about 2,000 years ago. Guests will have two hours to explore the site.
Shaanxi History Museum - After lunch, continue the Xi’an group tour to explore the Shaanxi History Museum. Shaanxi’s unique historical and cultural heritage is undoubtedly praiseworthy as a treasure house of Chinese civilization, and the Shaanxi History Museum is a palace of art displaying Shaanxi’s history and culture and China’s ancient civilization. The museum houses approximately 370,000 antiquities, ranging from prehistoric relics to those from the 1840s. The collection spans over one million years and is superior in value, quantity, rank, and species. The guide will provide professional, comprehensive explanations.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - Instead of entering the temple to visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, guests will have a photo stop here for half an hour. Based on suggestions from previous guests, this is sufficient to see the pagoda and the statue of Monk Xuanzang at the south square outside the temple. As a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists, the pagoda, built during the Tang Dynasty, was once the site for Xuanzang to translate Buddhist sutras.
Today, the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda Area is the most popular area for tourists and locals in Xi’an. It is a wonderful place to enjoy charming night scenes and relax. Around the pagoda, there is a south square leading to the Great Tang All Day Mall, where visitors can appreciate unique Tang Dynasty-style sculptures and enjoy classical music performances in public. There is also a north square with the largest musical fountain in Asia, free but with scheduled show times.
Xi’an Xianyang International Airport - At the end, the guide will escort guests to Xi’an airport for a flight to Beijing. They may take the MF7198 19:00-21:30, a 2.5-hour flight.
Beijing Capital International Airport - Upon arrival in Beijing, guests will be picked up promptly and transferred to the hotel (Driver only, no guide).

Beijing - Today, the tour guide will meet guests at their Beijing hotel lobby at 8:00 AM. They will first be escorted to Tiananmen Square.
Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - At Tiananmen Square, guests can take great photos of the Tiananmen Tower, Monument to People’s Heroes, and Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao. Tiananmen Square is located in the center of Beijing City. Over the past centuries, it has witnessed numerous historical events and assemblies. Today, it hosts grand celebrations, military parades, and welcoming ceremonies for foreign leaders. Visitors can admire the towering Monument to People’s Heroes and the solemn Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao on the square. Traditional Tiananmen Tower, Zhengyang Gate, and Qianmen Arrow Tower can also be found there.
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Next, guests will cross the Tiananmen Tower to visit the Forbidden City, where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368 - 1911) lived and managed national affairs. The Forbidden City served as the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties and is the largest and best-preserved old wooden complex in the world. The palace is divided into the Inner Court and Outer Court by the Palace of Heavenly Purity, with the outer court for emperors to handle affairs and the inner court as the imperial family’s living quarters. The complex is also a giant museum with over one million national treasures on display.
Mutianyu Great Wall - Upon arrival at the scenic area’s parking lot, guests will first take an electric car to the entry and then take the chairlift up to the 14th watchtower. They will enjoy a leisurely hike on the wall for about 2 hours and take the toboggan down at the end. The Great Wall at Mutianyu was built and restored in the early Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) and is one of the most famous sections of the Wall. Mutianyu is renowned for “Out of all the Great Walls, Mutianyu stands apart.” Guests will explore the ancient structure and learn the history and facts that make it so famous. The professional guide will answer any questions and offer exclusive stories and facts about the Mutianyu Great Wall.
Beijing - At the end, guests will be escorted to their Beijing hotel.

Beijing - In the morning, the guide and driver will pick up guests from their hotel and continue the Beijing tour.
Temple of Heaven - First, visit the Temple of Heaven, the largest royal ceremonial building group in China. In the past, emperors held annual sacrificial activities here to worship heaven and pray for a good harvest. Now, it has developed into a large park where visitors can see locals exercising and engaging in recreational activities.
Back Lakes (Hou Hai) - Next, continue the visit to Beijing Hutong. Guests will take a rickshaw through the old alleys and visit a Hutong family to see how old Beijingers live. The area has many popular restaurants, cafes, and local food stores, making it a great place for lunch. It is an excellent opportunity to taste local food, and the guide will offer suggestions. After lunch, guests can stroll around Houhai Lake and explore more of the Hutong area.
Lama Temple (Yonghegong) - After the Hutong visit, guests will be driven to the Lama Temple, the largest Buddhist temple in Beijing. It combines various architectural styles from different groups, including Han, Manchu, Mongol, and Tibet. Opened to tourists in 1981, hundreds of thousands of people visit and pray here annually.
Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - A 30-minute drive will take guests to the Summer Palace, known as the museum of ancient royal gardens. The expert guide will show guests around. The garden mainly consists of Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake. The Long Corridor, 728 meters (796.2 yards) long, is the longest corridor in Chinese gardens. Beginning at the Yaoyue (Inviting-Moon) Gate and ending at Shizhang Pavilion, the corridor ingeniously links Longevity Hill with Kunming Lake. Guests can appreciate the exquisite murals and enjoy melodious music while walking along.
Beijing - Finally, the guide and driver will escort guests back to the hotel/airport/train station, marking the end of the 8-day tour services.
