Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall - At the Exhibition Hall, visitors can explore various textual and graphic files and architectural models, providing a comprehensive understanding of Shanghai’s development.
The Exhibition Hall highlights Shanghai’s urbanization and modernization. Visitors can learn about Shanghai’s history and current state through city miniatures and extensive city planning materials. High-tech methods are used to project Shanghai’s future blueprint through 2020.
Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - In the afternoon, enjoy a leisurely stroll in the picturesque Yu Garden. Situated in the old town, Yuyuan Garden is the city’s most famous ancient site, known for its clever layout and intricate architecture. The garden’s treasure, Yu Ling Long (an exquisite jade stone), an artificial hill, is one of Southern China’s three most renowned peaks.
Yuyuan Old Street - Next, visit Yuyuan Bazaar, also known as Yuyuan Market, located outside Yu Garden in the heart of Old Shanghai City, near the Old City God Temple. The area features many traditional Chinese buildings now serving as commercial stores selling local products, snacks, jewelry, souvenirs, antiques, and more.
Shanghai World Financial Center - Afterwards, visit the Shanghai World Financial Center and ascend to the 100th floor for panoramic city views. It is the world’s 8th tallest building and the 4th tallest in Mainland China. The 100th floor features a 55-meter-long viewing gallery, the second-highest observation deck in China, surpassing the Canadian TV Tower (447 meters) and the Dubai Tower (440 meters).
The Bund (Wai Tan) - Following this, visit the Bund area, a quintessential part of Shanghai. Located on the Huangpu River bank, visitors come to the Bund for its charming riverside scenery and unique Western and Gothic architecture. Free time will be provided to explore the Bund and take photos.
Shanghai - Finally, guests will be driven back to their hotel, or they may enjoy their own time at nearby Nanjing Road.

Zhujiajiao Ancient Town - Zhujiajiao water town is renowned nationwide, with a history spanning over 1,700 years. Covering 47 square kilometers (11,614 acres), this fan-shaped town, known as Shanghai’s Venice, shines like a bright pearl amidst lakes and mountains. Visitors will explore Kezhi Garden, Qing Dynasty Post Office, and Fangsheng Bridge with their tour guide.
Jade Buddha Temple - After lunch, guests will visit the Jade Buddha Temple. Built in 1882 for two white jade Buddha statues from Burma, the Jade Buddha Temple is a famous Buddhist shrine and an active Zen monastery. The temple plays a significant role in spreading Buddhism through cultural means, including lectures, library services, Buddhist academic publications, and regular cultural activities.
Tianzifang - The tour concludes at Tianzifang, an old-style cultural block featuring distinctive Shikumen buildings with art studios, themed cafés and bars, and handicraft workshops.
Shanghai Pudong International Airport - After the tour, guests will be driven to Pudong International Airport for a flight to Guilin (MU9223 21:15-23:55). The flight duration is approximately 2.5 hours.

Guilin - The guide will meet guests in the hotel lobby around 09:00 AM. They will be taken to the renowned Reed Flute Cave, a 30-minute drive away.
Reed Flute Cave (Ludi Yan) - Upon arrival, guests will enter the underground karst cave and marvel at the stunning formations of stalagmites and stalactites.
Reed Flute Cave is a famous karst cave with numerous stalagmites and stalactites shaped like bamboo shoots, pillars, curtains, and flowers, creating a magnificent underground palace. Inside, visitors can discover more astonishing sights, such as stone lions, miniature forests, pagodas, and crystal chambers, each with a romantic or intriguing story. The guide’s vivid interpretation and lighting add mystery to the scene. The cave tour lasts about 40 minutes.
Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces - After a two-hour drive, guests will reach the Longji Terraces entrance to purchase Longji entrance tickets for the rice terraces in Ping’an Village. This village boasts the most famous and beautiful rice terraces in Longji, requiring a 30-minute drive from the ticket office.
Ping’an Village - Upon arrival, guests will take a moderate trek along steps to Ping’an Zhuang Village. The walk takes about 40 minutes. The guide will lead a stroll around the village, showcasing the unique wooden stilted houses of the local Zhuang people. Lunch will be enjoyed in the village.
After a brief lunch break, guests will continue exploring the terraces to the No.2 Viewing Platform (Seven Star with the Moon), a 15-minute walk, offering a fantastic bird’s-eye view of the Longji Terraces. Ample time will be provided for photos and enjoying the fresh air. Then, guests will head to the No.1 Viewing Platform (Nine Dragons and Five Tigers), a 30-minute walk along a flat path.
Guilin - Afterwards, guests will be driven to their Guilin hotel around 6:00 PM, with free time to enjoy.

Guilin - In the morning, the guide and driver will pick up guests from the hotel around 07:45 AM and escort them to the Zhujiang pier to start the Guilin Li River cruise to Yangshuo (4-star boat with buffet lunch).
Li River - Boarding is scheduled for 9:20 AM, and the journey takes about 4 hours. With the guide’s company and interpretation, guests can immerse themselves in the stunning karst landscape of rolling hills, verdant forests, odd caves, and tranquil villages along the Li River. A buffet Chinese lunch will be served on board before reaching Yangshuo at 2:00 PM.
Xianggong Mountain - After disembarkation, guests will be driven to Yangshuo Xianggong Hill. They will climb for 15 minutes along a moderately sloped staircase to reach the top. Guests should inform the guide in advance if a walking stick is needed. Situated between the famous Yellow Cloth Shoal and Mural Hill, Xianggong Hill is one of Guilin’s best viewing platforms to admire the Li River’s beauty. The supreme view of the meandering Li River making a 180-degree bend attracts countless visitors and photographers annually.
Yangshuo County - At the end, the guide will escort guests to their Yangshuo hotel, with free time to enjoy. There is an optional night show in Yangshuo, ‘Impression Sanjie Liu,’ performed above and on the Li River against verdant hills. The dreamlike stage effect and original singing and dancing of national minorities have earned the performance a great reputation among visitors. The show begins at 8:00 PM and lasts for 70 minutes; ticket prices range from CNY 268 to CNY 368, depending on the seats. If interested, the guide will reserve tickets and escort guests to the site after dinner.

Yangshuo County - In the morning, the guide and driver will pick up guests from the hotel around 09:00 AM and escort them to the Yulong River for the Yangshuo Yulong bamboo boat tour.
Yulong River - Taking a bamboo raft ride on the Yulong River (or Dragon River), a tributary of the Li River, offers a relaxing way to enjoy the scenic area south of Yangshuo. Guests can enjoy the stunning scenery and views of country life on a non-motorized raft, steered by a gondolier over breakwaters past small mud-brick villages and farmlands. Once on the bamboo raft, guests can sit and enjoy the peaceful countryside and limestone mountains. Even if guests have cycled the area, the view from the river is different. The boat ride lasts for 50 minutes, one way.
Fuli Ancient Town - Next, guests will travel by car to Yangshuo Fuli Town, a 20-minute drive. In this town, guests will experience local farmers’ lives. The guide will escort guests to a local market, then head to the old streets to see fans, paintings, and water buffalo near the river (end of the street).
Xingping Town - Once a sleepy riverside village, Xingping has grown into a town with an old center easily explored in about an hour. Xingping has a long history, with many buildings dating back to the Qing and Ming dynasties. On local market days, the town comes alive and can get busy with locals from surrounding villages buying and selling produce. Restaurants and coffee shops offer the local specialty, beer fish, and local handicrafts, including handmade jewelry. The scenery around Xingping is magnificent, and visitors can see the view immortalized on the national 20 RMB note.
Guangxi Airport Management Group Guilin Liangjiang International Airport Company - After lunch in Xingping, the guide will escort guests to Guilin airport for a flight to Xi’an, possibly taking the GJ8746 20:10–22:05. The flight duration is around 2 hours.
Xi’an Xianyang International Airport - Upon arrival in Xi’an, guests will be picked up promptly and transferred to the hotel (driver only, no guide).

Xi’an - In the morning, the tour guide will meet guests at their Xi’an hotel lobby at 9:00 AM and transfer them to the Terracotta Warriors Museum, an 80-minute drive, 45 km away.
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - The guide will reserve tickets online in advance and help guests skip the line at the Museum entrance. Following the guide, guests will explore the Terracotta Warriors Museum by visiting the three excavated pits and the Bronze Chariots and Horses Exhibition Hall. Although the clay warriors and horses have been buried for over 2,200 years, they remain vivid with distinct appearances. Guests will spend at least two and a half hours exploring this amazing site.
Small Goose Pagoda - Next, guests will transfer to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, located inside Jianfu Temple, about one kilometer south of Xi’an city proper. It is one of two famous and important Buddhist pagodas erected in the Tang Dynasty about 1,300 years ago. Small Wild Goose Pagoda and its larger neighbor, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, are two important Buddhist sites dating back to the Tang Dynasty, 1,300 years ago.
The two pagodas symbolized Chang’an (Constant Peace) city. Xi’an (West Peace) was called Chang’an until the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), when Beijing became China’s capital. Chang’an served as the capital for ten dynasties.
Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - After lunch, guests will transfer to the city wall. They can walk or cycle around the wall, with bike fees paid locally if chosen.
The first landmark visitors encounter in Xi’an is the ancient City Wall, which encircles the old city. It is also one of Xi’an’s most famous attractions. Today, this wall represents one of the oldest and best-preserved Chinese city walls and one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.
Muslim Quarter - The last stop will be the Muslim Bazaar, the city’s most thriving area. If interested, guests can explore the bazaar at their own pace and return to the hotel independently. The guide will provide directions for returning to the hotel. The Great Mosque and the Bell and Drum Tower Square are within walking distance of the Bazaar. There are many boutique stores at fair prices in the Bazaar and numerous excellent dinner options.
Xi’an - At the end, guests will be driven back to their Xi’an hotel.

Xi’an - In the morning, the tour guide will meet guests at their Xi’an hotel lobby at 8:30 AM and transfer them to Hanyanglin, a 30-minute drive, 15 km away.
Tomb of Emperor Jingdi (Hanyangling) - Guests will first drive for one hour to visit the Hanyangling Mausoleum, located at the site of the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi, built in 153 AD. With the guide, guests will closely examine the thousand-year-old tombs through glass floors and walls in the tomb pits. Additionally, the advanced Spectra Vision program will recreate the real life of the Western Han Dynasty about 2,000 years ago. Guests will have two hours to explore the site.
Shaanxi History Museum - After lunch, guests will continue their Xi’an tour to explore the Shaanxi History Museum. The unique historical and cultural heritage of Shaanxi is undoubtedly worth the praise as a treasure house of Chinese civilization, and the Shaanxi History Museum is a palace of art displaying Shaanxi’s history and culture and China’s ancient civilization. The museum houses approximately 370,000 antiquities, ranging from prehistoric relics to those from the 1840s. The collection spans over one million years and is superior in value, quantity, rank, and species. The guide will provide professional explanations.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - Instead of entering the temple to visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, guests will have a photo stop for half an hour. Based on suggestions from previous guests, this is enough to see the pagoda and the statue of Monk Xuanzang at the south square outside the temple. As a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists, the pagoda, built during the Tang Dynasty, was once the site for Xuanzang to translate Buddhist sutras.
Xi’an - Finally, the guide will escort guests to their hotel.

Xi’an North Railway Station Parking Lot - Today, there are no activities, just a train ride to Beijing in first class. The driver will bring guests to the train station, no tour guide. Guests may take the G350 10:18-14:46, and the train ride takes around 4.5 hours.
Beijing West Railway Station - Upon arrival in Beijing, guests will be picked up promptly by a local driver and transferred to their Beijing hotel (driver only, no guide).

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - At Tiananmen Square, guests can take great photos of the Tiananmen Tower, Monument to People’s Heroes, and Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao.
Tiananmen Square is located in the center of Beijing City. Over the past hundreds of years, it has witnessed numerous historical events and assemblies. Today, it serves as a venue for grand celebrations, military parades, and welcoming ceremonies for foreign leaders. Visitors can admire the towering Monument to People’s Heroes and the solemn Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao on the square. Traditional Tiananmen Tower, Zhengyang Gate, and Qianmen Arrow Tower can also be found there.
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Next, guests will cross Tiananmen Tower to visit the Forbidden City, where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368 - 1911) lived and handled national affairs.
The Forbidden City served as the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties and is the largest and best-preserved old wooden complex in the world. The palace is divided into the Inner Court and Outer Court by the Palace of Heavenly Purity, with the outer court for emperors to handle affairs and the inner court as the living place for the imperial family. The complex is also a giant museum with over one million national treasures exhibited.
Mutianyu Great Wall - Upon arrival at the scenic area’s parking lot, guests will first take an electric car to the entry, then take the chairlift up to the 14th watchtower. They will enjoy a leisurely hike on the wall for about 2 hours, ending with a toboggan ride down.
The Great Wall at Mutianyu was built and restored in the early Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) and is one of the most famous sections of the Wall. Mutianyu is renowned for “Out of all the Great Walls, Mutianyu stands apart.” Guests can roam the ancient structure and learn the history and facts that make it so famous. The professional guide will answer questions and offer exclusive stories and facts about the Mutianyu Great Wall.
Beijing - At the end, guests will be escorted to their Beijing hotel.

Temple of Heaven - Guests will first visit the Temple of Heaven, the largest royal ceremonial building group in China. Emperors in the past held annual sacrificial activities here to worship heaven and pray for a good harvest. Now, it has developed into a large park where visitors can see local people exercising and engaging in recreational activities.
Back Lakes (Hou Hai) - Next, guests will continue their visit to Beijing Hutong. They will take a rickshaw through the old alleys and visit a Hutong family to see how old Beijingers live. There are many popular restaurants, cafes, and local food stores in the area, so lunch may be enjoyed there. It is a good opportunity to taste local food. The guide will offer suggestions. After lunch, guests can stroll around Houhai Lake and explore more of the Hutong area.
Lama Temple (Yonghegong) - After the Hutong visit, guests will be driven to the Lama Temple, regarded as the largest Buddhist temple in Beijing. It combines various architectural styles of different groups, including Han, Manchu, Mongol, and Tibet. Opened to tourists in 1981, hundreds of thousands of people visit annually for praying and sightseeing.
Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - A 30-minute drive will take guests to the Summer Palace, reputed as the museum of ancient royal gardens. The expert guide will show guests around. The garden mainly consists of Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake. The Long Corridor, 728 meters (796.2 yards) long, is the longest corridor in Chinese gardens. Beginning at the Yaoyue (Inviting-Moon) Gate and ending at Shizhang Pavilion, the corridor ingeniously links Longevity Hill with Kunming Lake.
