- Teshiktash - Referred to as the “Heart-stone,” this natural wonder features a heart-shaped hole created by years of wind currents. It is located 30 km south of Samarkand, on the road to Amankutana.

The Palace Complex of Ak-Saray - Constructed by order of Amir Temur following his campaign against Khorezm, the Ak-Saray’s construction began around 1379. Currently, only two separate entrance portals, each over 40 meters tall, remain.

Sultan Saodat Complex - This complex was established after the passing of Amir Temur’s eldest son, Jahangir. The ensemble now includes several structures: a mosque, a mausoleum, a room for pilgrims, three gates, and tombs.

Kok-Gumbaz Mosque - Opened in 1435, this is the largest mosque in Shakhrisabz. Built on the foundation of a pre-Mongol mosque, it is a remarkable example of Persian architecture.

Excursion to Shehrisabs - the home of Timur. - The tour is very informative. Timur's homeland! It is very important that the Uzbek people revere, respect their heroes, remember and are ready for the whole world to tell about the accomplishments of their genius rulers. Today remembers his history, passes this knowledge on to his children! It's worthy of a lot of respect. Caviar's a great boy! He's got a great command of the material, there's no question he can't answer! In addition to the historical part of the tour, we would like to note the caring attitude of Ikrom towards the guests. We would like to express our great gratitude to him for a useful day with him! Lucky for the tour guide, lucky for the weather, everything's great. You don't have to find the best guide, the best is Caviar.

Tour di un giorno a Shakhrisabaz con Fayoziddin - An excellent day tour, perfectly balanced between historical landmarks, breathtaking views, authentic encounters with local people, and a delicious lunch at a traditional Uzbek restaurant. Fayoziddin was outstanding: professional, patient, and always helpful. A highly recommended guide who, even in just a few hours, managed to share many fascinating insights into Uzbek culture.

Nature, culture and history day - We had a great day with Fayoziddin. The program is complete: beautiful views of the snowy mountain, guided tour of the city of Shakhrisabz, some shopping and local lunch with panoramic views. Fayoziddin is a very good guide with extensive knowledge and a particularly friendly person with whom we had a lot of fun to exchange about Uzbekistan and the region, its history and culture. We highly recommend!

Beautiful views on the way to Shakhrisabz - Great driver friendly, experienced and very prudent, allowed us with several stops to take many photos and recommended restaurant for lunch. Thank you.

Knowledgeable guide with unbeatable hospitality - We had a private tour with Ikrom, a very knowledgeable and thoughtful guide.
Not only did we learn a lot of history of the Amir Temur times, we were immersed into a deep conversation about the local traditions, religion and culture. We had an amazing lunch in the mountains, local lamb with salad and bread.
The conversation lead us to the home of Ikram, which was not even part of the tour - we were privileged to meet his family and enjoy the fruits (literally) of his labor, he has his own garden and fruit plantation.
This was the day my wife and I will remember - from the conversation to the scenery , we were over the moon with this extremely sincere and welcoming experience.

Kept coming back for more! - I have just finished my third tour with Fayoz. I booked a 3 hour tour initially (ancient Samarkand- brilliant) and then I decided to sign up for another 3 hour tour (on the general highlights of Samarkand- also brilliant). And today we did an all day tour which was over the mountains (beautiful and stopped for lunch with spectacular views) and over to Shakhrisabz. (Fantastic history.
There are some great shops there much better than the crazy crowded markets in the bazaar in Samarkand. I wish I did all my shopping here in style and silence).
Fayoz is such a great guide. What started as a 3 hour tour has become two days of solid learning from a guy who is kind and considerate of his customers needs. I honestly recommend him so highly, his English is excellent and his knowledge is extensive.
The drive home back over the mountains as the sun set and my heart and soul was full. This is well worth the trip!

Average - Tour to Shakrisabz. We expected a 4x4 but ended up in a tiny tiny chevrolet that had no AC and was super bump driving some of the roads. The site is decent and was empty. It would be good to have indepth information or details regarding the site and it's history. Alot of the information available is regarding Amir Temur.
