Setting Sail on the Islands of Fire

As the sun rose over the horizon, casting a golden hue across the waters, I found myself aboard the Yacht Isabela II, ready to embark on an adventure that promised to be as fiery as the islands themselves. The Galapagos archipelago, a place of wonder and mystery, had long been on my bucket list, and now, here I was, ready to explore its unique landscapes and wildlife.

Our journey began on Santa Cruz Island, where the lush vegetation of the highlands greeted us with open arms. The air was thick with the scent of earth and foliage, a reminder of the vibrant life that thrived here. As we made our way to the Charles Darwin Research Station, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe at the dedication to conservation and research that this place represented.
