Arrival in Paradise

The moment we touched down at Aéroport de la pointe Larue on Mahé Island, I could feel the excitement bubbling up in my family. The warm, tropical air was a welcome change from the chilly weather back home. Our adventure began with a ferry ride to the Carol Strand, where we were greeted with open arms and a refreshing welcome drink. The kids were thrilled to explore the hotel grounds, and I was more than happy to let them run off some energy after the long flight.

On Praslin, we embarked on a full-day reef safari, a thrilling experience that allowed us to explore the vibrant underwater world without getting our feet wet. The semi-submersible tour was a hit with the kids, who were mesmerized by the colorful fish and coral reefs. We ended the day with a delicious Creole buffet, accompanied by lively traditional music that had us all dancing in our seats.

As our week in Seychelles came to a close, we reflected on the incredible experiences we shared as a family.
