During this approximately one-and-a-half-hour visit, guests will have the chance to explore the ground floor of this magnificent building, a prime example of Sevillian civil architecture.

This palace, situated next to the Church of San Esteban, was constructed by the Marquis of Tarifa in the 15th century. Following a journey to Jerusalem, he discovered that the distance from his home to the small temple of the Cruz del Campo matched the distance between the site believed to be Pilate’s Praetorium and Mount Calvary, which inspired the palace’s unique name.

The house showcases Gothic-Mudejar architecture in the city, featuring rooms and courtyards adorned with sculptures and portrait galleries, along with an extensive display of Triana tilework.

The tour will guide visitors through various rooms on the ground floor, including the chapel and the main patio, which is beautifully decorated with stunning sculptures, concluding the visit in the gardens.
