- Torre del Oro - Our meeting point for this experience is the watchtower built over 800 years ago to defend the access of ships to the city.
- Monumento a la Tolerancia - A very modern monument that represents the different cultures that have called to Seville home and that have been able to coexist for centuries.
- Puente de Isabel II (Puente de Triana) - The first fixed bridge of Seville, it was built to replace the former floating bridge that connected the city with Triana quarter. This is a very good example to the iron architecture of the 1800’s
- Mercado de Triana - The traditional market of the neighbourhood will allow us to speak about the importance of the products of the area and how they have contributed to Mediterranean cuisine.
- Centro Ceramica Triana - Here we will learn about the importance of the the crafts of the area and their contribution to the arts. Focusing on the ceramic we will also see how some traditional artisan workshops are making out of Triana a relevant location
- Callejon de la Inquisicion - Getting into the Castle of San Jorge we will explore the only defensive structure of the area and headquarters of the Inquisition. We’ll learn about this religious court and its importance in local history.
- Capilla de los Marineros - At this little church we’ll learn about one of the most important religious festivities, the Holy Week. Being the site of the most beloved brotherhoods of Triana the chapel is still a mandatory stop for everybody visiting this suburb.
- Iglesia de Santa Ana - The most important church of Triana and the first one built after the Christian conquest of 1248. A very good example of Mudéjar architecture style that was popularly know as the ‘Cathedral of Triana’

Excellent - brought Seville and Triana alive - Excellent tour which provided a great historical overview of the river and Triana. Our guide Marta was very knowledgeable and informative and presented the information very clearly. Would definitely recommend.

This tour was well worth the time and price. - This tour was well worth the time and price. This Guided Small-Group Walking Tour turned out to be private! I was the only tour member who showed up. It was great. Miguel was a very good guide, he is a Spaniard with comprehensive knowledge of Spanish & European history, but also much more than that: He is very up-to-date with current events, and with viewing those through the prism of history. Miguel was warm and friendly and a great conversationalist. I came away from this tour with a good understanding of the history of Seville and its central place in the historical development of Spain as a country. My appreciation of Seville’s cathedrals and government buildings was heightened by observations Miguel shared with me, about their historical origins, and their cultural and political significance. Thank you again, Miguel!

Excellent tour of Seville and Triana - Local company using local guides. Marta from Triana was as enthusiastic as she was knowledgeable about the fascinating history of Sevilla and its sister city Triana across the city. The area on both sides of the Guadalquivir River is flat and easy to navigate on foot. We got tips for dining and entertainment We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it!

This is the Walking Tour of Triana to Take! - Carmen was terrific -- friendly, warm, with lots of insider tips on where to eat (and not eat) and where to get ceramics. We took two walking tours with Seville Unique Experiences, one of the Cathedral (with Marta) and one of Triana (with Carmen), and both were superb. Small groups so we could all hear the guide.
They both are from Seville (Carmen grew up in Triana), so they know the city firsthand, and both are historians, so their knowledge is deep. They separate fact from fiction and provide insight into small details that give a real sense of the rich tapestry of cultures that have shaped the architecture, the food, the music and dance, and the people of Seville and Triana. Great tour for multiple generations.
Highlights were learning about the origins of flamenco, the ceramics makers that used to be in Triana, and the people of Triana. A light, pleasant walk along the river and down cobblestone streets.

My own personal tour of Triana - I was in luck from the get-go as I was the only participant on the tour with Miguel.
90 minutes full of facts and insights from the old Port of America, to the makeshift bridge separating Triana from Seville, to the floodings, to the gypsy culture, Flamenco and shifts from being professional sailors to professional artists with a touch on Inquisition and the continued influence of the Church too (it was Holy Week after all) added in for more colour.
There was also some background into the cleansing-cum-revitalisation done in the 90s and the loss of ceramic factories to the current gentrified Triana which retains much of it cultural and historical beauty, which are sign-posted through tours like this.

Afternoon waking tour small group (turned out to be private) - Valentin is passionate about Seville and has a depth of historical knowledge. A good introduction to the Triana neighborhood and the river front in the historic area of Seville.
