A relaxed outing to Carmona and the nearby Necropolis - Our guide had both English and Spanish-speaking visitors on the tour and flowed freely from one language to the next. He was knowledgeable about the Necropolis and the town of Carmona. We started the tour at the Necropolis and also visited the small museum there. Then we drove to the old town of Carmona, set in a hill overlooking a lovely agricultural plain with a Roman bridge in the distance. We walked through the Cordoba Gate, and along the main “thoroughfare of the town, stopping to learn more about the historic churches, main square and the defensive gates. We ended at the Seville gate and drove back to Seville.

Carmina with a knowledgeable guide - Carmona is a very quaint little town that is worth seeing, if possible staying even one night. The visit gets even more points if you are accompanied by José Luis, a really experienced guide, passionate about the places and available to answer any curiosity. It was he who made the trip even more enjoyable and fun!

Fantastic experience - Our time in Carmona with guide José was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable, charming and offered an intimate and varied tour of Carmona, not only showing us the Roman Necropolis but also amazing views and sights we wouldn't normally have gotten to see around the stunning town. Can't recommend it enough. Thanks for a memorable time

Wonderful day in Carmona with José Luis - Carmona is a very interesting town. José Luis, our guide, paid us an extraordinary visit and was able to appreciate the Jewish Quarter, the Parador, the Puerta de Sevilla, the wonderful main church and the Roman Necropolis.

Less than I expected - I think our expectations were higher than we found. The truth is that our guide, Julian, is a crack and he gets the knowledge and taste for his work all over the pores of the skin. Still, the visit to the necropolis, very detailed, and to the village, shorter, has not filled us much. Surely the impression is better doing the excursion in the morning; I think seeing the village at night and with the weather unclear, has negatively influenced our perception.

Bad experience - Terrible experience and therefore unforgettable. I booked through Tripadvisor a guided tour of the cathedral and the Alcazar, in ITALIAN, at the agency Naturanda. When I printed the ticket collection voucher above it said TOUR MONUMENTALE ITALIANO and below "monumental route english", which I honestly did not notice. On the day of the visit I discovered that the tour was exclusively in English. Now if I go to reprint the voucher I no longer get "MONUMENTAL ITALIAN TOUR", but "route monumental english" comes out. But I kept the old one and sent it to him asking for a partial refund. There was another foreign client at Naturanda who had the same thing happen to them. My advice is to book guided tours on site, or better yet to take an audio guide, so you are also freer to tour and stay as much as you want, because both the cathedral and the Alcazar are very large. Or if you really want to book do not go through other operators, like this, but contact directly the agency that provides the service.
