Well looked after through 3 different experiences - Miguel was our friendly and knowledgeable guide. He also drove the minibus as we were a small party. The first stop was to a bodega that produces white wines and sherry, where the owner talked us through the process. There was a wine tasting afterwards. Cadiz was interesting, just a pity we saw it in poor weather. My favourite activity was seeing the beautiful Spanish horses dancing (dressage) at Jerez. We were well looked after throughout the day.

Memorable experience - We spent the day with José Luis and Suzanna. The guides were amazing, smiling and friendly (hire Suzanna please 🙏) the explanations very clear and complete without being pulled in length. We did the wine tasting which was very good and very rewarding and the equestrian show of the Royal School of Equestrian Art which was beautiful. We recommend this tour without any reservations. Overpriced, and uncomfortably large groups - We have three issues with Naturanda: that the group size for standard day-trips can be hugely excessive in relation to the price paid; that they dropped a key part of one tour without notice or explanation; and their unresponsiveness in dealing with our well-founded complaint. The second and third of these points relate mainly to another tour (Ronda and White Villages), so I won’t go into details here, but they do affect our overall trust of Naturanda. The key issue on the Jerez/Cádiz tour is that, considering the price, we didn’t expect to be part of a full busload of people. This makes it a totally different experience than the small groups we’ve enjoyed on similarly priced tours elsewhere, where there is more of a sense of a shared experience with the guide and other participants. It’s unpleasant to feel you’re annoying locals by getting in their way just because of the number in the group. Plus the tour was conducted in three different languages. Impressive as our guide’s language skills were, there were plenty enough people for Naturanda to have supplied two or even three guides on that bus, each speaking just one or two languages, which would have made each walking tour a more reasonable size, allowed us to spend less time pointlessly standing around listening to languages we don’t understand, and still brought in a more than healthy profit for the company. It was also unfortunate that they hadn’t checked the opening times of the Alcázar in Jerez. This wasn’t mentioned in the tour description, and so is in no way a breach of contract, but it’s worth being aware of if you’re hoping to visit it at your own cost during the free time in Jerez, which our guide had indicated would be an option. Our tour was on a Sunday, and we were informed on the day that the order of visits had been switched around – understandably, to avoid heavy end-of-weekend traffic on leaving Cádiz. This meant that we reached Jerez in the afternoon, and it turned out that on Sundays the Alcázar is only open in the morning, not the afternoon. On the positive side, the guides on both tours were abounding in genuine cultural/historical information which they each shared in their own style – one humorous, the other more earnest. The drivers did a very good job, too. I’m not giving their names because I don’t want to associate them with a low-starred review. The problem is Naturanda, not them. The fact that there is no effort to coerce people on the tours to buy things is also a plus. In fact, we had the opposite issue – disappointed not to be able to purchase some of the delicious sherry we had tasted, at the winery we visited! And the places we saw were magnificent. But all this was overshadowed for us by Naturanda’s essentially dismissive attitude to our fair complaint about the other tour, and by the overpricing in relation to group size. Normally I come on TripAdvisor to share my enthusiasm, rather than to complain – but in the case of Naturanda, I felt I had to make an exception. We wouldn’t book with them again.

This tour (approx.... - This tour (approx. 40..ish people) was very badly organized. We spent a lot of time waiting. After the sherry tasting, according to the tour itinerary there would be a city walking tour. But the tour guild had only took us to a square 3 mins away from the pick up point then she said that she was going to stop there because 4 people did not have breakfast. After wasting almost an hour of our valuable tour time, we were picked up by the tour bus, then, we were drove to pick up a family of 4 people. But, the worst was we had to wait inside the tour bus for another half an hour for only 4 people who went to the horse show. When we arrive Cadiz, the tour guide took us for a very short walking tour, then drop us off at a market which almost every stalks were closed except a few spots for very quick late lunches. She never mentioned the famous beach (Castillo De San Sebastian) is close by, she never gave us appropriate time to see Cadiz. The free time after lunch was too short. The group return time at the gathering point was again another 30 minutes earlier than we had to walk to the tour bus picked up point to wait for the bus. Cadiz is not that far from Seville, but my whole day was wasted by waiting here ... waiting there. I am a world traveler, I had been on day trips a lot in different cities including Spain, this was the worst one I had ever been. If I could I would like to ask for refund, This tour wasted my valuable time in Spain, I could just spent more time in Seville or take the train to Cadiz myself with much better experience.

Management knew there was a horrible storm and the majority would be a walking tour but yet to satisfy their pockets - 4 January 2026 The tour to Jerez and Cadiz was a disaster! The administration should have canceled this tour. The administration should have cancelled and refunded the tour. We could not see the attractions from the bus or from the bus, as the streets and sidewalks were totally flooded. We had to be careful where we walked so we didn't fall. It was a horrible experience! You should embarrass the administration by sending us to unsafe conditions! Our tour guide, Carlos, did his best to entertain and educate us, but we still could not see or distinguish the places! What a waste of day, time and money! The 32 people and our guide were soaked from the time we arrived until we got home! It's a disgrace! Dalia Molinet
