A great experience everyone should try. - I attended the vegan/vegetarian class and the fluffy Japanese pancake classes solo. Both times I was met at the train station, and we walked back to the Tomokita san house, and I had a great class where I learned about the food she had brought and how to prepare it. Tomokita had thought of everything in order for it to be a smooth and enjoyable experience. From the bottle of water at the train station, on a hot summer's day, to tea upon arrival. The food we made together was delicious, and I was able to replicate all the dishes back home thanks to the clear teaching. I loved the first class that I came back again. Tomokita san is a great teacher and a very friendly person. I highly recommend this workshop to everyone.

Cooking a magnificent lunch in Japan - We spent a wonderful 3 hours in a neighborhood near Tokyo by subway. Our adventure began at the subway station, continued with a visit to the Todoroki Fudōson Temple, and passed through the most beautiful gardens of the valley. Then, at a Japanese home renowned for its hospitality, we learned to cook our own meals and enjoyed a lovely lunch. Now we'll be making Ramen and Gyoza at home to commemorate this beautiful day. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who enjoys cooking. Thank you,

Authentic japanese cooking class - The whole home cooking experience was fantastic. We met at the Metro station and walked together through a beautiful shrine and garden to Tomokitas home. After a short welcome drink we started the well prepared cooking class. We chose Ramen and Gyoza. Tomokita has a really big knowledge and was happy to share it with us. Thank you for the delicious food, the heartful atmosphere and all the recipes. We are looking forward to use them for our Japanese evening with friends and family. Best regards, Katrin and Florian

The third time visit Tomoko Sensei cooking class in Todoroki - This was the third time we visited Tomoko Sensei for a cooking class, as always it was exceptional—a truly memorable part of our trip to Japan with our parents! Before the class, we had the opportunity to discuss with Tomoko Sensei the specific dishes we wanted to learn. She tailored the course to our preferences, dietary needs, and seasonal ingredients, this time focusing on home-style vegan ramen and gyoza. Tomoko Sensei even designed a new ramen recipe just for us. Getting to Todoroki Station by train was straightforward, and that's where we met Tomoko Sensei. She took us on a stroll through the stunning Todoroki Valley, which was a highlight of our Tokyo trip. We were fortunate to see the breathtaking scenery of yellow and red autumn leaves carpeting the valley floor.Upon arriving at Tomoko Sensei's house, we were greeted by a beautiful and warm home. After enjoying some delicious drinks and tea that she provided, we began our cooking lesson. Tomoko Sensei meticulously guided us through the steps for each dish. The final results were a great success, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal together. The dishes, fruits, desserts, and sake prepared by Tomoko Sensei were scrumptious. Sharing stories with her was a joy, and we greatly appreciated her sharing the recipes and preparing thoughtful gifts for us. It truly was a delightful afternoon.

Wonderful Japanese Home Cooking Class - We were a family of 4 adults and had such a great time making Japanese hot pot (Oden), Japanese fried chicken (Karage) and seasonal veggie side dishes. The dashi broth was amazing. Tomokito gave us all the recipes and we were so impressed by her homemade preserved plums and plum wine. She is so welcoming and a great teacher. The meal portions were substantial and delicious. We had so much fun and learned so much to make again at home. Highly recommend!!

Outstanding experience!... - Outstanding experience! The menu was delicious. I can't wait to try the recipes at home. Tomokita helped us buy some of the ingredients unique to Japan at a grocery store after class.

Great experience! - It was a very nice day. Tomoko accompanied us to the sanctuary near home, a very relaxing place surrounded by nature. The day continued with the cooking class, directly at his home. We made some great sushi and ramen, the ingredients were very good and fresh. We are on our honeymoon and to celebrate Tomoko has prepared a very welcome surprise. We recommend this experience to everyone. Thank you for the Welcoming Tomoko 🙏🏻 Ah, you can not forget the plume wine, spectacular!!!

A wonderful experience - The cooking class of Tomoko was really a wonderful experience. I have been to Japan several times but it was the first time for me to have such a class. First, the organisation is perfect. The meeting point is very easy to find. Tomoko is immediately very careful and friendly, paying attention to every details in a very friendly manner. The walk accross Todokori temple and its park is very nice. To cooking place in the home is perfectly equiped and I felt immediately very well. All food and drink is of premium quality. I particularly enjoyed the home made plum liquor. We cooked okonomiyaki together and it was great fun. What a thrill when I needed to overturn mine ! Moreover, Tomoko provides a lot of useful advices and the result was a delight. All the ingredients were perfectly fresh and carefuly prepared by Tomoko. All the salad plus dessert are really good. Let me finish this review by saying that, on the top of this highly professional class, Tomoko is really a wonderful person. She provides many informations concerning the japanese culture in a very friendly way, taking care to listen to your opinion and to enjoy exchanges of culture. It is really a must if you are interested in such an activity, I could not imagine a better experience.

This was the best... - This was the best experience I had during my whole trip! Tomoko is the sweetest and most amazing host. She welcomes no more than four students into her home for a hands on cooking lesson. I did it by myself and enjoyed her company so much. The food was indescribable! We made gyoza, ramen, and fermented cucumber salad. EVERYTHING made me speechless! Tomoko is an amazing, kind teacher. I cannot recommend her class enough! It’s a nice, relaxing atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. I will be coming back on my next trip to Japan!
