After morning pick-up at your Seoul hotel, the tour begins with a visit to the Jogyesa Buddhist Temple, the heart of Zen Buddhism in Korea. The first sight at the temple includes the ancient locust and baeksong trees, standing for about 500 years, with the Baeksong tree recognized as a Natural Monument. The Daeungjeon Building, constructed in 1938, showcases vibrant colors and houses the statue of Seokgamoni. In front of Daeungjeon, a seven-story stone pagoda containing Jinsinsari can be admired.

Following the temple visit, the tour proceeds to the Blue House, the presidential residence. Due to security, stopping in front of the Blue House is not possible, but it can be viewed en route to Gyeongbok Palace.

Next, the tour arrives at Gyeongbok Palace, the main palace during the Joseon Dynasty and a must-see historical site in Korea. The tour explores various buildings including Geunjeongjeon (main throne hall), Sajeongjeon (King’s office), Gangnyeongjeon (King’s living quarters), Gyotaejeon (Queen’s living quarters), and Gyeonghoeru, where the king hosted formal banquets for foreign envoys. The visit also includes the Korean National Folk Museum, part of Gyeongbok Palace, which offers insights into traditional Korean life and culture.

The tour then returns to Gwanghwamun Gate, the southern gate of Gyeongbok Palace, to witness the changing of the Royal Guard Ceremony.

The tour concludes at Seoul City Hall after a stop at a ginseng center. City Hall is conveniently located near many other attractions, allowing for easy continuation of personal sightseeing plans.
