Highly Recommended Fun Korean Cooking Class - We’re so glad we took this market tour and cooking class with Jomin. Even though some of the market was closed due to the Chuseok holiday there were enough stalls open to get a good idea. Her explanations about banchan, kimchi and other foods and customs was really interesting. Jomin then taught us how to make Japchae, Kimchi Stew and Stir Fried Pork in a well appointed kitchen. We then had a treat eating our dishes accompanied by makgeolli. A great experience all around.

We enjoyed ourselves, learned and cooked our wonderful meal. - The cooking class with Jomin was so much more! We walked through Mangwon market and Jomin showed and explained ingredients that we would be using in our cooking as well as answered our naive questions. Jomin was patient and guided us in preparing our dishes for lunch.

An amazing cooking and market visit experience in Seoul - It was a great experience. We started with a nice market walkthrough and our host shared so many interesting information with us. Later we came to a super clean and organized cooking studio and we had an amazing time cooking as well as eating our cooked meals… I would repeat this again anytime! Thank you!!

Market tour and korean cooking class - 100% recommend this market tour and cooking class. Jomin's knowledge and information sharing was perfect. Very clean kitchen area and seperate dining area to eat the food we prepared, which has air con, as it was hot and humid today Thursday 18/9/2025. The colour printed recipe book is to take with you. I loved this experience, there were 8 in our group today who all loved the experience. Judy, Gold Coast, Australia

Fantastic experience! - What an amazing experience! The class began with a walk through the local market, where Jomin gave explanations of the fresh ingredients and local products. Everything was so well organized and easy to follow. Cooking together was fun and engaging, with recipes that were approachable yet authentic. We got to taste our creations at the end — unbelievably delicious and full of flavor! On top of that, we received a recipe book to take home, which is such a nice touch and will let us recreate the dishes again. Jomin is knowledgeable, friendly, and makes the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. I would highly recommend this class to anyone who loves food and wants a memorable cultural experience!

Fun, informative, and delicious! - This class was so fun! The market tour was interesting and informative. I liked how she took us to a market that locals shop at. The food we made was delicious and things we can definitely replicate when we get home! It was really great that each of us got to do all the steps of each recipe, instead of each doing just a few pieces. I learned a lot!

Delicious food! - The class was fun and well organised. First you walk through the food market and she stops by to explain some of the stalls. We got 20 min to buy some snacks and other food we wanted to buy. Dinner menu was pork bulgogi, kimchi soup, and japchae noodles. It was actually one of the best meals we had in Seoul! I guess home cooking is always the best. The recipes are very easy so I will make them once back at home for sure.

If you are looking for a cooking class, this is must-do for Seoul! - I highly recommend this cooking class! Jomin, who leads and teaches the class, is absolutely wonderful. She explained everything clearly—from our visit to the market to guiding us step by step through each dish. The class was approachable and enjoyable for everyone, whether you’re an experienced cook or just starting out. Jomin also provides a beautifully curated recipe book that includes not only the dishes we made together, but also other favorites she recommends. If you’re looking for a cooking class during your time in Seoul, this is truly a fantastic choice!
