Jeongbang Waterfall - 정방폭포 (Jeongbangpokpo Falls)
Seogwipo, encompassing the entire southern half of Jeju, enjoys abundant sunshine and warm temperatures, drawing tourists throughout the year. A popular destination is Jeongbangpokpo Falls, one of Jeju Island’s top three waterfalls. The water cascades 23 meters directly off the cliff into a pool before flowing to the sea. Behind Jeongbangpokpo Falls, on the cliff, is Waljong Art Gallery. This gallery is dedicated to the Korean artist Lee Wal Jong, who settled in Jeju many years ago. It showcases his inspiring artworks, capturing Jeju’s beauty in his unique style. The gallery’s strategic location and glass-walled second floor offer visitors a stunning view of the sea. -
Oedolgae - 외돌개 (Oedolgae)
Oedolgae, the starting point of Jeju Olle Trail Course 7, is a stone pillar rising 20 meters from the sea. Standing alone, it is named ‘Oedolgae’. It is also known as ‘General Stone’ and ‘Grandma Rock’. Legend has it that General Choi Yeong decorated this rock like a general during a battle against the Yuan Dynasty, causing the enemy to self-destruct. For the origin of the name ‘Grandma Rock’, refer to the legend below. The visible rocks and the life of Jeju’s people waiting for the sea’s bounty can be observed here. -

O’sulloc Tea Museum - 오설록
The Osulloc Tea Museum, adjacent to the Seogwang tea field in Jeju, is Korea’s first tea museum, opened in 2001 by AMOREPACIFIC to promote tea and Korean traditional tea culture. It is a cultural space that blends East and West, tradition and modernity, and includes a tea museum, a nature-friendly rest area, and a cafe offering delicious and diverse tea-based menus. -
Yongmeori Coast - 용머리해안 (Yongmeori Coast)
Yongmeori Coast is named for its resemblance to a dragon diving into the ocean with its head raised (‘Yong’ means dragon and ‘Meori’ means head in Korean). Yongmeori is a sandstone bed formed by layers of sand deposited over tens of millions of years. The coast’s mysterious scenery is awe-inspiring. At the coast’s base is a Hamel Monument, established by the Embassy of the Netherlands and the Korean Foundation on April 1, 1980, to strengthen diplomatic ties between Korea and the Netherlands and to honor Hendrick Hamel’s dedication and hard work. -
Sanbangsan Mountain - 산방산 (Sanbangsan Mountain)
Sanbangsan Mountain is a trachytic tuff lava dome connected to the sedimentary layer of Yongmeori Coast in Sagye-ri, Andeok-myeon. It is a bell-shaped tholoid standing tall in the southwest Jeju plains, visible from anywhere in the area. It is encircled by Ilju Road, connecting Moseulpo Port and Hwasun-ri. Well-maintained stairs allow tourists to climb to Sanbanggulsa Grotto on the southern face of Namsa-myeon. To reach the summit of Sanbangsan Mountain, visitors can use the trail behind the mountain leading to Deoksu-ri, Yonghae-dong. -
Songaksan Mountain - 송악산 (Songaksan Mountain’s peak)
Featuring a cinder cone in the crater’s center and its tuff ring, Songaksan Mountain’s peak, also considered its mouth, has a depth of 69 meters and retains its active form. Previously known only to those with archaeological interests, it has recently become a popular tour destination, with many narrow paths leading to it. Songaksan Mountain served as Japan’s forward operating base during its invasion of China, the last line of defense during WWII’s final hours. Ruins of airfields, hangars, and anti-aircraft artillery are scattered throughout, with 15 coastal trenches below the coastal cliff, four or five of which have naturally decomposed and pose falling hazards. The cave’s construction using the shore cliff and the seaside trenches offer excellent oceanic views, adding to its high preservation value.
