Hallasan National Park - Situated in the heart of Jeju Island, Hallasan Mountain is one of South Korea’s renowned peaks and the tallest in the country. Visible from anywhere on the island, its name translates to “a mountain that can hold the Milky Way.” At its summit lies Baekroktan, a volcanic lake created by an eruption approximately 25,000 years ago. Surrounding it are over 360 smaller volcanoes of varying sizes, also formed by volcanic activity.

Seopjikoji - “Seopji” is the area’s ancient name, and “Koji” is a Jeju dialect term for protruding terrain. The landscape is characterized by black volcanic rocks, red volcanic soil, and uniquely shaped sea rocks, complemented by grasslands and lighthouses, creating a distinctive scenery.
