- Jeongbang Waterfall - This iconic waterfall on Jeju Island is the only one in Asia that cascades directly into the sea. Visitors can even dip their feet in the water. The Chinese characters “Seobulgwacha” are inscribed on the rock wall of Jeongbang Falls. Legend has it that an envoy of Emperor Qin Shi Huang visited Yeongju Mountain (now Hallasan Mountain) in Jeju to find “Bulocho” and took turns engraving words on the rock wall, but the rock was damaged by a typhoon. The area around Jeongbang Falls is rocky, so caution is needed when walking. While descending the stairs is easy, climbing back up can be challenging. The waterfall is especially picturesque when rainbows appear after rain, making it a popular spot for photography.
 - Saryeoni Forest Path - Saryeoni Forest Trail is one of Jeju’s 31 hidden gems. This forest path, lined with dense cedar trees, begins at Bijarim Road and passes through Mulchat Parasitic Cone and Saryeoni Parasitic Cone. The name “Saryeoni” means “sacred forest” or “winding threads in a circle to prevent them from scattering.” Walking through the forest, you can enjoy the refreshing scent of cedar trees. The forest is home to a variety of tree species, including Quercus oak, hornbeam, stingray, and cypress. It also provides a habitat for mammals like badgers and weasels, birds such as eight-colored birds and goshawks, and reptiles including zebrafish. The forest was also a filming location for the drama “Secret Garden.”
 - Jeju Stone Park - Jeju Stone Culture Park is a museum and ecological park that showcases Jeju’s rich stone culture. The park opened on June 3, 2006, after seven years of construction. Given its vast size, it’s best to visit with ample time. Located in front of Oreum, a natural heritage site unique to Jeju, the park features a castle-like structure made of piled stones. Inside, visitors can follow a path to see various stone statues inspired by the legend of Seolmundae Grandma and her son, General Ohbaek. The museum itself is underground.
 - Woljeongri Beach - Woljeong-ri, a village on the eastern side of Jeju Island, is known for its picturesque landscape, with its name meaning “the moon stays.” The beach features a stunning emerald sea and a bright moonlit sky. Visitors enjoy the scenery in various ways, and the shallow waters make it ideal for families with children. As Woljeong-ri’s beauty has become more widely known, the area has seen an increase in restaurants, cafes, and accommodations. Some cafes offer chairs with views of the sea, which have become popular photo spots. Visitors often capture memories of their Jeju trip here.
 - Seongsan Ilchulbong - Recognized as a World Natural Heritage site, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak is one of Jeju’s top attractions. It is also a venue for haenyeo (female diver) performances, although these can be canceled in bad weather. The name “Seongsan Ilchulbong” means “sunrise peak,” and the site features 99 stone pillars that resemble a crown from above. It takes about 30 minutes to hike to the top from the ticket office. After reaching the summit, visitors can watch the haenyeo performance on the beach below. Seongsan Ilchulbong is one of Jeju’s 10 scenic wonders and is closed on the first Monday of every month, though the path to the haenyeo performance beach remains open.
 - Seopjikoji - Seopjikoji, named after the Jeju dialect word for “cape,” is a scenic spot south of Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. The cape offers stunning views of the sea and rapeseed fields, and features a lighthouse fire station built from volcanic rock. Behind the fire station is Bulguoreum Oreum, known for its red soil. The white lighthouse atop the hill contrasts beautifully with the landscape. Seopjikoji has been a filming location for many Korean movies and dramas and is highly recommended by CNN as a top tourist destination. Visitors can walk along the beach path past the lighthouse without needing to return to the starting point, as transportation is available on the other side.
 - Seongeup Folk Village - Seongeup Folk Village is a traditional village where people have lived in thatched houses for generations. Historically, it was the center of Jeju, and horses and cattle were sent from here to the king and central government. Visitors can explore the traditional thatched houses for free and see a traditional toilet. Walking through the stone wall alleys, you can experience the traditional lifestyle of Jeju and even try on Hanbok, traditional Korean clothing.
 - Sangumburi Crater - Sangumburi Crater is a parasitic volcanic crater of Hallasan Mountain and the only submerged volcano on Jeju Island. The crater’s outer circumference is 2,067 meters, the inner circumference is 756 meters, and its depth ranges from 100 to 146 meters. The crater rarely ejected lava; instead, it was formed by an explosion that scattered material in all directions. Although larger in diameter and depth than Baeknokdam, the crater does not retain water, which flows out to the sea through the basalt gravel layer. Sangumburi Crater is unique in Korea and rare worldwide, with only a few similar craters in Japan and Germany.
