Songaksan Mountain - 송악산 (Songaksan Mountain’s peak)
Featuring a cinder cone in the crater’s center and its tuff ring, Songaksan Mountain’s peak, which can also be considered its mouth, has a depth of 69m and retains its active form. Once known only to those with archaeological interests, it has recently become a popular tour destination, with many narrow paths leading to it. Songaksan Mountain served as Japan’s forward operating base during its invasion of China and the last line of defense during WWII. Ruins of airfields, hangars, and anti-aircraft artillery are scattered throughout, with 15 coastal trenches below the coastal cliff, four or five of which have naturally decomposed and pose falling hazards. The cave, built using the shore cliff, and the seaside trenches offer excellent oceanic views and hold high preservation value.
Handam Coastal Trail - 한담해변 (Handam Beach)
Handam Beach stretches along the coastline from Aewol-ri Village, at the northwestern edge of Jejudo Island, to Gwakji Gwamul Beach. Created in 2001 as part of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province’s coastline improvement plan, the beach offers islanders and tourists diverse opportunities to enjoy the ocean. The plan prioritized harmony with the surrounding view. A 1.2km long winding trail is paved along the beautiful coastline, designed to be as close to the ocean as possible. This popular spot allows visitors to enjoy a relaxing walk along the vast blue ocean. In July 2009, Jeju-si designated 31 sites representing Jejudo Island, besides the already famous tourist sites, and Handam Beach was chosen as one of these 31 hidden views of Jeju-si.

This intriguing spot is known as Jeju Mysterious Road or Dokkaebi Road.
