- Thingvellir National Park - Thingvellir National Park, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is of significant historical and geological value. Visitors can explore the impressive Álmannagjá gorge, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet and gradually drift apart each year. This park is also the site of Iceland’s first parliament, enriching its natural beauty with cultural significance.
- Geysir - At the Geysir Geothermal Area, visitors can wander past bubbling springs to witness Strokkur, a geyser that erupts every 5–10 minutes, propelling water up to 20 meters high, and occasionally reaching 40 meters. Nearby is the dormant Great Geysir, the original geyser, once known to erupt to an incredible height of 100 meters.
Lunch is likely to be enjoyed at the visitor center, which offers a variety of dining options.
- Gullfoss Waterfall - The next stop is Gullfoss, or the “Golden Waterfall.” It is part of the Hvítá glacial river, which is fed by the vast Langjökull glacier, visible on clear days. In spring, Gullfoss is particularly powerful, with up to 2,000 cubic meters of water cascading over the falls every second, approximately 20 times the flow seen in winter.
- Laugaras - Scheduled to open in August 2025, Laugarás Lagoon inspired the creation of this tour! Nestled beside a pristine river, the lagoon will feature warm waters, a cold plunge, two saunas, and a swim-up bar. Visitors can unwind and reflect on their Golden Circle adventure in this stunning location.
The tour includes a Lerki entrance ticket, which comes with a towel and a complimentary drink from the in-lagoon bar.
