• Geysir - At the Geysir Geothermal Area, visitors can wander past bubbling springs to witness Strokkur, a geyser that erupts every 5–10 minutes, propelling water up to 20 meters high, and occasionally reaching 40 meters. Nearby is the dormant Great Geysir, the original geyser, once known to erupt to an incredible height of 100 meters.
