Fabulous family business - Anton & Vida are great - Back to Iceland is a fantastic tour company. When our itinerary was changed by the cruise line, I contacted Vida in the office and she suggested a new expanded itinerary for us which worked perfectly. She was quick to respond and was very accommodating. Anton was our driver and guide. We had a lovely, modern, clean, huge vehicle allowing our party of 4 to spread out comfortably. It was equipped with WIFI and USB ports for charging. Anton picked us up early and kept us ahead of the crowds to ensure we saw all the highlights of the area. He is an excellent driver and we felt quite safe. He accommodated all our requests with his patient demeanor. Anton had an accent but we were able to understand him without any problem. He was very informative and provided information when it was appropriate.

Best choice - Time for everything on our 9 hr adventure. Just the waterfall itself made it worth it. Our guide Mona kept us on track @ was very gracious sharing her knowledge.

Awesome Golden Circle small group tour - This is a wonderful tour to see highlights of Reykjavik outside of the city. Our guide made a couple of extra stops to get close to Icelandic horses and a farm that makes awesome ice cream. We made it back to port on time with a few minutes to spare.

Great Tour of the Golden Circle - The Golden Circle is a wonderful day trip from Reykjavik - with more places to visit than time will permit. And the weather will almost certainly not cooperate for the entire day - but being on a small coach with a knowledgeable local guide made for a great tour.

Answome - The meeting with Anton was very interesting. We were lucky enough to be the only ones in the comfortable vehicle. At 8 we left the port and returned around 16:30. The places visited were wonderful and Anton explained everything in detail. We left the usual tours, we started the day at a mural where we were explained the geography of Iceland and the tectonic plate. Later we saw the volcano, then the greenhouse with tomatoes. So the classic golcen circle, waterfall of godafoss where we stayed for an hour with possibility to have lunch there but we had a packed lunch. Subsequently gyser about 40 minutes. Then ice cream view animals and finally the park where we stayed for 1h and a half about. Tour absolutely recommended! Friendly and helpful staff for any need

Magic excursion! - We had a great day today accompanied and guided by Antonio! The weather has been mild with us! This allowed us to visit all the sites planned in this excursion! We even had some extra stops thanks to our great guide! We recommend this excursion and it can be done without problems with children!

Golden Circle tour - A great tour with an amazing guide. Anton was amazing, very informative, knowledgeable and whity. Got to see everything we wanted, learnt a huge amount of history and information. He went above and beyond; we were given ponchos and the use of crampons which were very much needed Would highly recommend this tour with this guide

A Basic Tour That Didn't Deliver What's Promised - We booked this tour with Back to Iceland specifically because the listed itinerary had two great-sounding stops that some other tours didn't have: a visit to Bru Horse Farm and Fridheimar Tomato Farm. Our receipt for the tour specifically mentioned access to these two sites was included in the cost of the tour. These two sites were also mentioned on TripAdvisor's itinerary at the time of our booking. However, our tour visited neither, and we wound up very disappointed. We visited all the standard stops: Thingvellir, Gullfoss, a geysir, and Kerid Crater. And they are indeed beautiful places worth seeing. But almost every big bus tour makes the same stops for cheaper. After our final stop at the crater, we thought the tour we'd stop to see the horses and tomato farm. Instead, we went straight back to Reykjavik. We asked our tour guide why this we skipped the horse farm and tomato farm, and he was confused, since those stops were never on his itinerary. Skipping the stops was not his fault, but that of Back To Iceland. Especially since the tour we went on was run not by Back To Iceland, but Troll.is: a different company. The tour guide seemed genuinely confused when we mentioned that we booked with Back To Iceland. This raises the question of whether Back To Iceland are operating their own tours or simply acting as a re-booking agent sometimes. To their credit, Back To Iceland responded promptly when we contacted them about omitting the horse and tomato farm, and they promptly offered and delivered on a partial refund, . But the refund doesn't negate the fact that we missed out on two sites we were really looking forward to visiting. And their excuse that they were "currently updating and changing the stops on our winter itinerary" wasn't a particularly good one. A lot of tours can take you on a tour of the basic sites. If I knew in advance that we wouldn't be visiting Bru and Fridheimar, I would have booked with someone else. I suggest you do the same.
