Unforgettable DMZ Experience. Made Exceptional by Hans Solo - Our DMZ tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip to South Korea, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible guide, Hans Solo. From the moment the tour began, Hans brought a perfect mix of deep knowledge, engaging storytelling, and genuine passion for the history and significance of the DMZ. He didn’t just present facts , he brought the entire experience to life, helping us understand the political, cultural, and emotional weight of the region in a way that was both insightful and easy to follow. What really set Hans apart was his ability to balance seriousness with warmth and humor, making the tour both educational and enjoyable. He was attentive to everyone in the group, always ensuring we were comfortable, informed, and had plenty of opportunities to ask questions. The itinerary was well-paced, and Hans added thoughtful context at every stop—from the tunnels to the observation points—turning what could have been a standard tour into something truly memorable and meaningful. If you’re planning a DMZ visit, I cannot recommend this experience enough—and if you have the chance to go with Hans Solo, consider yourself very lucky. He’s not just a guide; he’s an outstanding storyteller and ambassador for the experience. Don’t forget to Ask him about his Maroon5 guests

10/10 Would Come Again when the JSA is open!! - Han “Han Solo” was the best guide i could have asked for! It was such an incredible time hearing from a North Korean refugee, and getting to ask her questions. I would highly highly recommend touring with Han!

DMZ tour - Jackie the Storyteller is a knowledgeable and friendly guide. He provided a good amount of information about the history of the DMZ and Korea. It was a fascinating step back in time 70+ years to a time when world superpowers carved up the world between them (glad that's over 🙄). The visit to the tunnel dug by north Korea to invade the south was the highlight for me, as well as the view from the observation area into the North.

Wonderful DMZ tour - Han led us on a wonderful and thorough tour of the DMZ! The pacing on this tour was wonderful and Han clearly outlined what to expect throughout the day, and Han provided alternative options for guests who were not inclined to the walking bits. Be forewarned, there is lots of walking on this journey but all of it was to meaningful places. Honored to have been a part of this! BOOK WITH HAN!

Han was great! - Han/Han Solo was our tour guide and he was great! Friendly and informative! It did feel a little bit rushed though (tight schedule) but we had to see a lot of stuff so I understand.

Great for history buffs and casual tourists alike - Jackie was really great about interspersing a really serious topic with humor and frankness. I appreciate that he didn’t shy away from the human cost of war while being realistic about the prospects of peace. The tour didn’t feel rushed and I learned a lot. I’m only rating 4 rather than 5 stars as the time spent in the Dora Observatory was a bit rushed and chaotic. I wish we had had the room to ourselves, rather than talking over 2 others. However, I wholeheartedly recommend this tour for anyone looking to learn more about the history of the Korean Peninsula.
