Our guide was... - Our guide was awesome&informative. Nice hr ride & relaxing. He recommended an ice cream shop and restraunt. We tried both and it was yummy!

Always use tripadvisor - A lovely drive to the red rocks are driver was very nice. We always book a activity with tripadvisor when traveling. Beautiful views great photo shots.

Fun Experience - Kenny and his trolley, named Golly, made for a fun experience! Once we got out of town and into the Red Rocks, we had great photo opportunities!

Yellow trolley with Kenny - Great experience with Kenny but did not get out of the trolley except for a 15 minutes stop for bathroom, smoke, pictures.

We were disappointed that... - We were disappointed that we were not told when checking in that it was a shuttle bus and not an open trolley ride until the driver told us upon entering the bus. Driver was funny and we enjoyed our tour though.

Without the guide it would be one star - We booked a tour on an open air trolley. When we arrived the office informed us that a van had been substituted for the trolley because of maintenance issues. Instead of touring in an open sided trolley with great visibility and an amplified sound system for the guide, we toured in a large van with tinted windows like an airport transport with limited visibility. Although the guide was very knowledgeable it was at times difficult to hear him over ambient noise. I heard that the management for the tour knew about the van substitution hours before the 11 a.m. tour but chose not to notify the passengers in advance. If I had prior knowledge I would have chosen another time when the trolley was available. I rate the guide a 5 and the tour management a one so it averages to a 2 or 3 star experience at the best.

You get what you pay for.. - You get what you pay for. If your looking to fill some time and get off your feet and see some rocks this may be for you. The check in woman was cranky, the guide was trying to crack old man jokes through the whole tour, which at some point I just had to tune out for my sanity. The trolley was old but made the trip. Do I think the other trolley tour would be better-probably. Would I do it again- no.

Don't waste your money. - I got a text cancelling the tour on the morning of the tour. I have tried to reach out to both Sedona Boynton Canyon Trolley Tour and Viator. No response from my voice mails and messages. I am out of the money paid for two tickets. Use Sedona Trolley instead. They are honest and helpful.
