- Sedona - The Medicine Wheel Teaching and Journey utilizes a Lakota Medicine Wheel and lasts approximately 2 hours. Following this, the tour will be tailored to your intentions, determining the number of vortex sites to visit. There are 5 listed Vortexes and many others available within the tour’s timeframe, with over 20 locations in total. The tour extends about 2 more hours after the ceremony. During the tour, you will visit sacred sites and vortex locations, spending time on the land and experiencing the energies, averaging around 1 vortex area per hour. A meditation on the rocks or life process activation can easily be added to your tour. Between locations, your guide will drive through other energetic areas of Sedona, sharing insights about Sedona’s history, geology, Native American and local stories, and more. Cathedral Rock alone may require up to 2 hours.
