This is an active urban walking tour designed for those who want some good exercise, information, and a taste of downtown Seattle’s smaller parks, environmental restoration projects and unusual eco-minded spaces. We’ll start at our first site and then walk through the following sites, exploring their history, design, and value to Seattle along the way:
-Olympic Sculpture Park
-Gates Discovery Center
-Pavement to Parks
This walking route is approximately 5.6 km/3.5 miles with some steep hills. We will pass through Seattle Center along the tour. The tour activity will end at the popular Pike Place Market. We can provide you with easy walking directions to return to the original meeting point or your next destination as needed.
