• The Skagit River Bald Eagle Interpretive Center - The group will gather in downtown Seattle and travel northeast for approximately 1.5 hours to reach the Skagit River, located at the base of the North Cascade Mountain Range. During December and January, numerous bald eagles can be seen nesting along the river, easily visible in the trees or soaring above the water. The journey will include stops at prime viewing spots along the river between the quaint towns of Rockport and Marblemount.
  Participants will enjoy snacks at Steelhead Park, another excellent location for observing eagles, and gain insights into these majestic birds at the Skagit River Bald Eagle Interpretive Center in Rockport.
• Arlington - The itinerary includes a visit to the logging town of Arlington, where a small exhibit showcases the Suak Suiattle Indian Tribe and the area’s history. The route also passes through the Suak Suiattle Indian Tribe reservation near the historic town of Darrington on the return trip to downtown Seattle.

The operator will observe bald eagles nesting and soaring above the scenic Skagit River in the Cascade Mountain Range. From the river’s viewing areas between Rockport and Newhalem, the eagles can be spotted in their nests and seen hunting fish, birds, and other animals. The operator will also learn about bald eagles at the Skagit River Bald Eagle Interpretive Center in Rockport, and enjoy beautiful waterfalls and pools in Newhalem and Diablo Lake within North Cascades National Park.

On the drive to and from Seattle, the operator will pass through lovely forests and mountains, visit the logging town of Arlington, and travel through the Sauk-Suiattle Indian Tribe Reservation near the historic town of Darrington.
