- Mount Rainier - The journey to Mt. Rainier National Park takes about 2 hours. From the Paradise visitor center, there is a one-mile hike to a picnic spot near impressive glaciers. During the winter and spring months (November-June), snowshoeing replaces hiking, and no prior experience is necessary.
- Seattle - The tour begins and ends in downtown Seattle.
- Space Needle - Alternatively, pick-up and drop-off can be arranged near the Space Needle upon request.
- Paradise - The hike near the glaciers in the Paradise area is approximately one mile at an elevation of 5,500 feet. This is also the location of the main visitor center in Mt. Rainier National Park.
- Narada Falls - The hike leads to the base of Narada Falls, a 168-foot waterfall near Paradise.
- Reflection Lakes - Reflection Lakes offer views of Mt. Rainier’s reflection during summer. In winter, the lake freezes, and the road is closed.
- Christine Falls Viewpoint - The Christine Falls can be seen beneath the historic stone bridge.
- Longmire - A walk through the old-growth forest in the National Park near Longmire is at a lower elevation.

This tour offers a unique experience with guided shorter hikes in Mt. Rainier National Park. From November to June, snowshoes or crampons will be provided when needed, as snow is common on the trails during these months. Participants will hike a few miles each day, encountering a variety of landscapes and scenery, including glaciers, mountains, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, and towering trees in old-growth forests, which are the main attractions of Mount Rainier National Park. (During winter, some areas of the park may be closed on certain days, and not all highlights may be accessible at all times).

Get outside and hike! - With a convenient pickup in downtown Seattle, this full day experience was exactly what I had hoped it would be—the opportunity to be outside in breathtaking Mt. Rainier National Park. After a stop at a grocery store to pick up a lunch for ourselves we continued to the park with our guide, Sue, pointing out different landmarks and history of the small towns and vistas we passed by. Once we were in the park, we had several pull-over spots to point out views and photo ops of Mt. Rainier and the surrounding Cascades Mountains before arriving at the visitor center, where our hike began. We hiked the steep and rigorous Skyline Trail, Sue stopping at various points along the way for our group to catch our breath, to take photos, and to point out the topography and geology of the area. We ate a picnic lunch at a circle of trees on the way up, a great break for all of us! The hike and an opportunity to visit the gift shop took us about 4 hours. BUT we were not done yet! Sue brought us to Narada Falls, Christie Falls, a part of the old growth forest where we saw at 1200 year old Douglas fir, and we tracked to the Nisqually River bed.
This is a small group (there were 9 of us with Sue) experience, perfect for anyone with an at minimum medium fitness level, who wants to out into nature and not just see it through a window.
This experience is by far the favorite tour I’ve been on. Thank you, Sue, for sharing your love of Mt. Rainier and your expertise.

Great experience! - Enjoyed this tour and guided hike of Mt. Rainer. The group I went with was so kind and lovely. Didn’t make me feel like I was the solo one in the group at all. Susan was also really helpful and an amazing photographer!
This is a very convenient option where the planning and commuting are all taken care of for you. All you have to do is show up. Highly recommend comfortable shoes because the hike is steep. Fortunately, the weather was perfect on the day of our hike, and we saw a lot of animals! Grateful for the memorable and fun experience!

Wonderful guide and experience - Soo worth it and our guide Susan was the best and she made the experience even better with her positive presence and welcoming attitude! Very sweet, friendly and also made sure we're all comfortable with the hike and gave us a few options for those who can't hike far. She's also so patient as I forgot my water and she didn't mind at all walking all the way back to the van and she gave us plenty of time to go at a slower base for the tough hike. The van was also very comfortable and Susan kept checking on us to make sure we're all comfortable with the temperature and that we have everything we need. Highly recommend this experience 👌

Canceled Last Minute - Susan cancelled on us in the middle of our honeymoon with less than 36 hours notice. She told us via text that we had to do the cancellation to get the refund, but really by telling us to cancel, she prevented us from being able to report that she cancelled on us and kept us from being able to write a review. If you don't see many negative reviews regarding cancellations, it's because of her giving people false information. Please book with a tour that will actually take you on the tour.
