The Beauty of Piran, Not To Be Overlooked! - The Lipica Stud Farm and trip to Piran has definitely been one of the major highlights of our trip to Slovenia. Igor our tour guide was fantastic, informative, great sense of humor and his lunch recommendation was spot on. Piran is stunningly beautiful and should not be overlooked. I would definitely recommend this tour. Thanks Igor A++

Perfect Day Trip - Anna was an excellent tour guide. She was very informational and included some fun anecdotes about her family and growing up in Slovenia. She used a microphone in the car to ensure that everyone could hear her. We drove to Piran and had a lot of time to enjoy the sites, do olive oil tasting, shop and have lunch and then off to the Lipica Stud Farm. We were lucky because they have a show at the farm every second Sunday of the month so we go to enjoy the show and a tour. It was a wonderful day trip from Ljubljana.

Highly Recommend - Enjoyed touring the Lipica stud farm and beautiful Piran as well. The beauty of Slovenia's various regions are hard to describe. We were most fortunate to have Vasco as our guide for the day, who provided us with much history along the route. One of the highlights was the lunch he suggested for us at a charming restaurant in Lokev, where we were able to experience an authentic Slovenian meal that we will not soon forget.

A Lovely Way to Spend a Day - A fantastic tour! Our guide (Rok) was lovely and had great information to share. Went to the Lipica Stud Farm (1 of 2 options to start the day) which was beautiful even in the rain. Piran was a beautiful city with an even more beautiful sea. Highly recommend; a great way to spend a day and worth the money!

Amazing Skocjan Caves and Piran - I ended up going to the caves with the rest of the group as I was the only one going to the horses. Best decision ever. The caves were amazing. They only have 35 people per group going through at one time so you're not fighting a crowd as you are walking through the cave. It's a must do. Once we finished we headed to Piran. Would have loved it more if it wasn't pouring down. Could have explored the side streets more but what we did was quite good. I can see why it's the Venice of Slovenia. A great day trip.

Beautiful Venetian city by the Sea, plus glorious horses - Walk up to Saint George’s church was memorable. my wife swim off the pier’s near the central plaza, and enjoyed it greatly. We had a pleasant meal sitting on the main Tartini Square. Prosciutto and sausages. The tour of the Lipica stud farm was also fascinating. It was wonderful to get up close to the horses and to be allowed to pet them gently. The horses are so beautiful. You can see why people fall in love with them. Our guide “Vasco” was informative and humorous. He apparently was in a rock band and would spontaneously riff and various rock themes.

Nice experience - From my point of view the visit to the Lipica ranch is not worth it, 18 euros to see 4 horses in the stable. However the visit to Piran did meet my expectations. Roko was an excellent and punctual Guide.
