First-class experience - Excellent experience! Mark was a fantastic guide providing insights and interesting stories. The (brand new!) vehicle was first-class with every seat having teriffic views. Plenty of drinks and snacks were provided. We were picked up directly from our hotel and dropped off for our dinner reservations in town. The trip agenda itself was excellent. We went the reverse-tourist route which resulted in little crowds at our destinations. We got to see multiple castles, some picturesque towns, a monastery, the beautiful lake, and more while stopping to get great photos. The castle tours were interesting and ticketing went smoothly. We also had time for a nice lunch at one of the restaurants near the castle. Mark walked us through every step of the way and took great care of us. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately no inside photos - We were traveling with a private tour company visiting Linderhof and Oberammergau today. Had a short walk to the actual palace from the parking lot. This was the home of King Ludwig II for several years. The layout of the grounds, gardens, and water features is well worth the visit. You only visit the upstairs rooms in the palace on timed, group entry. Unfortunately, they do not allow you to photograph inside. The walls are intricately decorated with wood carvings and paintings. The furnishings are beautiful.
