The day was beautiful, there were many animals near the boat, but most of all the captain and the person who did the commentary were very well trained in what they respectively needed to do, were customer oriented and both seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. The experience was much more than I had expected. I would recommend this lunchtime to everyone!
I’m on Marco and yet had never done this tour. Learned several new things and had a beautiful day on the water.
The trip was absolutely amazing! We saw a lot of wildlife. It puts Sanibel to shame. The naturalist a captain were awesome.
Our guide was great and provided a lot of informative information. She knew just where all the wildlife was. Of course it was helpful that we had beautiful weather.
We enjoyed everything about the cruise. The naturalist was excellent, the crowd was small, the skipper stopped the boat to let us have a close view of numerous things like dolphins and osprey nests etc.
We thought debra was so informative, personable and just fun! Very nice and loves her job. Thought it was a great trip and value!!
Fran, Susan and Buddy were wonderful. The luncheon spot chosen was very mediocre.
Excellent cruise in the Everglades - relaxing and informative. Would do it again!
Excellent educational experience. Made me very curious about the Conservancy and all you do
Both the naturalist (Francine) and the captain (Marty?) did a great job.
Very good guides and saw many birds and Dolphins.
Naturalist gave very good commentary. We saw lots of wildlife. The place where we had lunch was Pelican Bend and we liked the ambiance and food. The pilot was very good and helped wth wildlife sighting.
the naturalist was extremely informative.
Tour guide was terrific and captain did great job. Our out of town guests found the tour very interesting and informative.
Great guide and lots of sightings. Good place for lunch.
Everything was done very professionally.
I like the attention to safety onboard.
A beautiful day, interesting naturalists and a smooth and easy boat ride--what could be better? Well, actually the restaurant could have been better. There were four of us and none of us liked our meals. I would never choose to eat there again. I prefer Island Gypsy.
It was very informative and the guide was very pleasant. My guest from up north was happy to see the sites around Naples and Marco.
Lovely couple of hours on the water. Beautiful estuary. Should be seen. For avid birders, not too many unusual ones. However getting very close to pelicans,
Nice relaxing cruise with many birds to be seen and informative guide Dan. Highlight was seeing a pair of roseatte spoonbills on the island.
The day was perfect and Buddy and Dan were a delight!
We felt the organization of the trip was very good, check-in process was carefully done (parking area confusion not good--sign needs to be more indicative of exactly which parking lot is to be used). The two docents were both very knowledgeable, the captain/pilot was careful and professional. The restaurant was pleasant and mostly prompt in their service. The weather was gorgeous and the wildlife active--who could ask for anything more?!
Lunchtime cruise departed on time; Kathy - our narrator - was very, very good and kept us well informed - it is great to have an in-person narrator (vs. A head-set) - it is a more personal experience and Kathy was excellent at taking questions and answering them, on the spot.
This was so much fun! We had a great guide volunteer and we learned alot about the birds and the animals, The dolphins we encountered even played with us. Lunch at Pelican Bend was excellent. One of our favorites to dine at...
First of all, the 🌟s of the show were the birds and the lovely area in which the boat traveled. Fran, Susan and the boat captain were very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna that we were viewing. I learned so much from their commentary as we explored Rookery Bay. I highly recommend this trip to folks interested in the birds and the environment of Southwest Florida’s undeveloped areas.
Francine was a great guide — very knowledgeable, fun, enthusiastic about the wildlife etc,. Especially enjoyed and appreciated how she engaged the 2 young children in being engaged in and facilitating the experience for everyone. Boat captain Marty was very knowledgeable also, and he and Francine worked together well. Will definitely recommend to others.
Pleasant daytime excursion about as expected.
The captain was obviously very experienced and very professional. The naturalist was a wealth of knowledge about the wildlife in the area and general conservation information in Florida. The staff was efficient and polite and answered all guest questions. The only thing I would change, if possible, would be to find a restaurant with a more diverse menu. Most of the food served was fried and greasy.
Both the nature guide and the boat captain did a great job.
Loved tbe sceanery and all the birds. Great knowledge of area
Staff was very nice and knowledgable, it was a very nice experience that I will recommend to our friends.
