Efficient and Responsive Travel Organizer - We arranged our airport pickup, drop-off and a day trip to Ninh Binh with Danny. He handled all the arrangements for us. The drivers were competent and knew the routes well. Danny was ALWAYS available - whenever I needed his assistance. It was a rapid response with absolute clarity every single time. We are very glad we were able to connect with him on our Hanoi trip.

Great Service - I firstly booked from Australia for airport transfer to my hotel in the old quarter. Danny always replied promptly. Service was great and driver very friendly. This prompted my friend to also book as she arrived on a later flight. Again very satisfied. We then booked for a full day trip to Ninh Binh. Sun our driver was excellent. He was very helpful suggesting an itinerary and nothing was too much trouble all day. We loved Ninh Binh and it was fabulous having a flexible driver. He took us to a great restaurant for late lunch where we ate goat for the first time being a traditional dish for the area. I highly recommend this service

An Excellent Transfer/Driver Option - After using Danny Phan Travel to transfer us from the Airport to Hanoi, based on reading TA reviews where the driver was exactly where we needed to be picked up from, we decided on using them again for a day trip to Ninh Binh. This time we travelled with Danny as our personal driver. He was very flexible as we wanted to depart earlier than usual and he provided a safe and interesting trip. Dropping us off to the various places to visit. He was a pleasant and diligent driver. He has a pleasant personality and helped when we had a small issue. We again used them to take us to the airport on our departure. All cars at all times were clean and comfortable and in good condition with great air conditioning. Danny and both airport drivers were safe and communicated well with some English. Danny’s communication is excellent in person and via WhatsApp and gives clear confirmation on when and where to meet with pictures that make things clear and concise. We found the prices for all transfers and his driver services to Ninh Binh to be highly competitive and given the comfort and flexibility were very reasonable in our opinion. Based on our experiences we would use his company again if we were to return to Hanoi and would recommend this company without hesitation. Thankyou Danny and best to you and your staff.

Exceptional experience! - We were so lucky to have discovered Danny Phan Travel for our 4 days in Hanoi! We've done 3 trips with them and were extremely well looked after. All drivers were all very friendly, reliable, safe and on time. The cars were clean and modern. The management was responsive and professional. And all of this at very reasonable pricing. Really enjoyable 5 day tour with Danny himself - We found Danny on trip advisor and booked a trip with pickup from Halong Bay port and took us on a 5 day tour first to Ninh Binh and then on to Sa Pa followed by a trip back to Hanoi. We had a day in each stop touring round the attractions of the area. Danny knew great places to visit in both regions we visited and was informative on the culture and sights of Vietnam, he is very keen to show the very best of the country. Danny’s driving is safe and confidence giving in a comfortable well maintained car. We made good progress all around the country and everything was promptly and on time. We also had an airport transfer with one of Danny’s other drivers who,was polite and ready for us at the terminal. Overall absolutely recommend Danny Phan travel if looking for a tour or a transfer of some sort. Excellent experience.

Avoid at All Costs - We booked a car through Danny Phan (spelled D-A-N-N-Y P-H-A-N), a service based in Hanoi, Vietnam, for a two-hour drive from Hanoi to Yen Thu. The experience was, without exaggeration, the worst chauffeur service I’ve encountered in this country. Our driver, Mr. Hai, arrived on time at our apartment—that was the only positive part of the journey. From the moment we got into the car, the drive was reckless and nerve-wracking. On the highway out of Hanoi, Mr. Hai was already speeding. I asked him to slow down, but instead of adjusting his behavior, he responded with dismissiveness and an attitude. For the entire two-hour ride into the countryside, he continued speeding, honking nonstop, and driving in a way that felt aggressive and unsafe. At one point, I noticed we were doing 80 km/h in a 30 km/h zone—on bumpy, narrow rural roads. He showed no care for road conditions, pedestrians, children, or animals. He passed cars on blind turns and took dangerous detours, including one where he charged up a backroad hill to cut across a highway—an absolutely terrifying move. He drove the same excessive speed over potholes as he did on straight roads, making the ride physically uncomfortable and mentally exhausting. He was impatient, tailgating cars so closely we were nearly bumper-to-bumper with 18-wheelers, and using his horn not as a safety signal but as an aggressive tool to force his way through traffic. To make things worse, Mr. Hai was audibly irritated the entire time—huffing, puffing, grunting—and made no attempt to offer even the most basic courtesy. This was a special day: my wife’s birthday. I wanted a smooth, relaxing journey to our destination. Instead, the mood was ruined. We arrived stressed and shaken. By the time we got there, I couldn’t even look at him. He didn’t help us with our bags. He didn’t say thank you when we paid. He just grunted and drove off like he couldn’t care less. Final Verdict: If you value your safety, sanity, and any sense of comfort during your travels, avoid Danny Phan’s car service entirely. This isn’t just about a bad driver—it’s about a service that clearly doesn’t screen or train its drivers for professionalism, safety, or basic human decency. There are plenty of reliable, courteous drivers in Vietnam. This was not one of them. Don’t risk turning a good day into a miserable one.
