Nestled at the mouth of the Banderas Bay, you’ll find the charming Las Marietas Islands, just a 30-minute boat ride away from La Cruz de Huanacaxtle.

The islands owe their existence to volcanic activity that took place over millennia and are now a nationally protected sanctuary for birds and a haven for numerous marine species.
