• Monkey Mountain - Begin your adventure at the Sayulita bus station, where you’ll board a local bus for a picturesque 25-minute journey to the delightful village of Higuera Blanca, the entrance to Monkey Mountain (Cerro del Mono).

Following a brief orientation, embark on an 8 km / 5 mile round-trip hike to the peak. The trail meanders through a vibrant tropical dry forest, immersing you in the sights and sounds of nature. Along the route, the guide will highlight the local flora and fauna, while offering valuable insights into the area’s history and traditions.

Near the summit, a short rock scramble leads to the top, an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, framed by the panoramic vistas of the Riviera Nayarit.

The descent follows the same trail back to Higuera Blanca, where you can savor a refreshing coconut at one of the village’s most traditional locations. Finally, a private car or taxi will take you back to Sayulita, concluding a truly memorable experience.
