The guide was great and told a lot of facts about the island.
Jay did a great job keeping everyone together. He was informative and professional. He allowed everyone to go at their own pace and we spotted dolphins...which was awesome.
Every year we kayak with Kayak Hilton Head and see something different depending on the tides. This year we were out at high tide and we're able to kayak through the marsh grass and saw a dolphin and her calf, as well as other dolphins. The guides are always friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We'll be back again next year!
Dave was amazing. Loved the tour, loved the education, and loved the quality. Well worth it
Guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining,1St class outfit ,definitely would recommend and return ❗
It was neat. Saw 4 dolphins and followed along behind them. I would do it again for sure.
Beautiful scenery! Calm water. Gorgeous day.
I understand that we (people) cannot control wildlife to show up and be seen but seeing more wildlife would have made the experience a five star rating.
Jo was very friendly and led us on a very informative tour. Only wish we could have seen some dolphins, but we are in their habitat and on their schedule, not ours.
It would have been nice for the guide to have explained a bit more about the terrain around us prior to going in to various areas and thus alert us to stay away from the edges of the marsh as these areas are very low and mud contained and often kayaks get stuck in them. Thus when a kayak does he doesn't get highly upset, verbally upset and then proceed to mouth off about an individual in front of the entire group that had gone out about that individuals ability and lack there of. Extremely unprofessional and demeaning to that individual. Since he constantly told of large football players and large people getting stuck all the time it would of behooved him to alert everyone of these possible problem areas.
Me and my wife booked a kayak tour trip and Dave was our guide he is a great guide took time to tell and show the group things . Was a great experience and would referre them and Dave to anyone.. A+
Joe was a very good guide. Enjoyed the history and wildlife facts he had to tell. Thanks!
Did have fun! We had a party of 5 and our guide did teach us things about nature. Only thing that bothered me was that he was way ahead of us and didn't wait sometimes. We did see dolphins out in a distance and we got up close to manatee. That was amazing!
The guide and equipment were great. We saw two dolphins while we were waiting to get in the kayak but that was all. Not the establishments fault. We would highly recommend.
Two groups went out--- our group didn't get to see any dolphins--- that was a bummer...
We had a terrific kayaking trip Thursday morning. The weather was great, the setup was clear and organized, and we saw a ton of dolphins! This is going to be an annual part of our Hilton Head plans from now on.
Mary was fantastic and did a great job with educating everyone about the island and river.
Joe was great as a guide and we had fun. The ease of booking online I appreciated, but the chaotic state of things when you arrive and try to get signed in wasn't fun.
We wish it was a little bit longer.
