- Tybee Island - Clients will be picked up at their hotel or vacation rental, on the trip to Tybee we will point points of interest & history of the area.
- Fort Pulaski National Monument - First stop Fort Pulaski for a self guided tour of the fort ( about 50 minutes).
- Lighthouse Lane - Then a short ride to the Tybee Lighthouse & Fort…
- Tybee Island - Clients will be picked up at their hotel or vacation rental, on the trip to Tybee we will point points of interest & history of the area.
- Fort Pulaski National Monument - First stop Fort Pulaski for a self guided tour of the fort ( about 50 minutes).
- Lighthouse Lane - Then a short ride to the Tybee Lighthouse & Fort Screven ( about 50 minutes). Then drive to the Tybee Pier where guests will have 2-3 hours to walk the beach & pier area, plenty of time for lunch & shopping. We return around 3:00pm.
Please take note that the admission fee is not included for the lighthouse.

This is a great way to... - This is a great way to see Fort Pulaski and Tybee Island. We were able to tour the fort, enjoy time on the beach, climb the lighthouse, and grab some lunch.

Ft Pulaski, lighthouse and Tybee Island - This was an amazing experience. We were picked up at our place, stopped for drinks, Chris iced them down in his cooler, and drove us to our first stop, Fort Pulaski. He then picked us up 1.5 hours later and dropped us off at Tybee Beach. He carried our cooler, found us chairs, brought towels and told us to have a wonderful day. He then picked us up 3 hours later and took us back to our place. It was a great day and highly recommend Chris for a trip to Tybee Island.

We will book again sometime. - We'd give, Chris, our tour guide 12 stars if we could. Our tour was on August 22,2025. Communication was great! His first message to us came as we were checking into our hotel on the 21st. Chris has so much knowledge of this area, the Fort and Tybee Island. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Great day of history and the beach! - This is an awesome tour as Chris was great about confirming the time and pick up at the hotel. He was a plethora of knowledge about the area, and we had a great day exploring and learning about the Fort Pulaski. Since no one wanted to climb the lighthouse, he just gave a chance to get a photo from the bus and we drove around the community and while he told us the history about it. Then it was out to the beach where we had plenty of time to put our feet into the water, hit a few shops and then we had a FANTASTIC LUNCH at Pier 16, which was also our pickup spot.
This is a very convenient tour as you can book a beach day (chairs, cooler, umbrella included), a bike rental day, or a day like the one that we did--Fort Pulaski, lighthouse and beach/pier. Parking is as bad as they say, so taking the bus out was great especially with the hotel pickup. Chris was really friendly and easy-going and again, very knowledgeable about the area and its history. I highly recommend taking a tour with him.

Great way to spend a day! - Chris was great! He shared tidbits about the area on our drive to and from Tybee island. He was always right on time picking us up from our stops. I wish we would have skipped the lighthouse and stayed longer at Fort Pulaski.

A Day on Tybee - We had the most amazing day spent with Prof. Jack on our first ever visit to Tybee Island . Let me tell you , if history is your passion like it is ours … ask for Prof.Jack and you really will be surprised and completely fulfilled by all you ascertain . We fell in love with the island, culture and way of life for the past few hundred years . Thanks Tybee and Prof.Jack

Exploring Tybee Island: A Relaxed, Informative, and Personal Tour with Chris - The guided land tour to Tybee Island was an unforgettable experience, thanks to Chris's incredible knowledge and hospitality. He provided fascinating commentary on the sights along the way and gave great recommendations at drop-off points like Fort Pulaski, the Tybee Lighthouse, and the Pier area. The pacing was perfect, allowing us to explore each site leisurely without feeling rushed. With no rental car, this was an unbeatable way to see everything at a great price. The gorgeous, unseasonably warm weather and Chris's thoughtful touch of sharing movie-related photos afterward made the day even more special. It felt like having a private, personalized adventure with my spouse—highly recommend!

Great Tour on a not so great day to spend at the beach. - Took this tour on a not so pleasant day to be at the beach. We were the only ones to book a tour that day. The owner was very accomidating, picked us up at our hotel and gave us a private tour of the area with stops at Ft Pulaski and Tybee Lighthouse. He provided lots of interting information about the area. The tour included an afternoon on Tybee beach. He dropped us off and we had a lunch and a walk about. Due to the unfavorable weather I contacted him and asked if he could pick us up early. He was there are promised, right on time. Would highly recommend Tybee Beach Bus!

Overall good afternoon - The tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. The Fort Pulaski was interesting but could have skipped it, we only drove by the lighthouse because nobody was going in it, wish we could have stopped closer to to take a picture, the pier area had a lot to do, was able to walk to the sand and spend some time with my toes in the water. Also had lunch there.

Inappropriate transport - Fort Pulaski and Tybee Lighthouse were educational and inspiring. We had a fine time together. Unfortunately we did not get to choose our driver. He started right in with left wing politics couching his verbiage as “educating”. He rudely shared his disgust ad nauseum with three major Republicans without a modicum of care that anyone of his passengers might not only share his blather but also were on vacation and wanted to relax! not be lectured to by a driver in a moving vehicle! Unacceptable behaviour by a tour guide. We enjoyed the tours at the sites but felt frustrated by the employee’s political diatribe.
