- Wright Square - Wright Square is named after James Wright, the last Royal Governor of Savannah. It is the resting place of Tomo-Chi-Chi, chief of the Yamacraw people and friend of James Oglethorpe, with a boulder monument dedicated to him. There is also a monument to William Gordon, President and Founder of the Central Georgia Railroad and the Central Georgia Railroad Bank, and father of Juliette Gordon Low, founder of the Girl Scouts. The original Town Hall, now the Court House, is located here. The southwest building houses Savannah’s original cemetery.
