Cargo ships-up close and personal - Our guide was very entertaining and informative-could answer any question. Start asking questions immediately to help steer his presentation. Open air boat, so dress accordingly.

This Port Tour is a MUST! - Captain Peter was awesome! The expanse of the Savannah Port cannot be experienced driving over the bridge. Captain Pete is an encyclopedia of local lore and history of Savannah. His 53 years as a captain and business insider to the area blew me away. This isn’t just a boat tour, this was a history, logistics, and 201 economics class on how important this port is to the United States and the world. Peters knowledge of business and shear statistical facts was on display as he shared proudly of Savannah. Captain Peter’s demeanor is personal, funny, and super enjoyable.

Excellent all around - Aside from the February cold, the trip was outstanding. Our guide, Captain Peter Pearson, was extremely knowledgeable regarding the history of Savannah, as well as the port itself. Additionally, Captain Peter is a great storyteller and a joy to listen to. The actual tour was well executed, and gave everyone aboard a chance to get "close up and personal" with many aspects of the port of Savannah. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone with an interest in Georgia history or ocean commercial trade.
