The Dolphin Eco Tour takes place on the River Street Landing dock just in front of the restaurant Spanky's on River Street. The vessel you will be going on is called the River Explorer. Your crew will be at the top of the ramp to greet you and board approximately 30-min prior to departure.

Fun and relaxing - We had a great time on this tour. Captain Connor a d first mate Jason made sure we saw dolphins. It was a relaxing and fun trip. We even learned some of Savannah’s history. Definitely recommend !

Dolphins and Music and Information, Oh My! - Enjoyable throughout! We saw dolphins and a bald eagle. The tour guides kept us entertained and informed, mixing in music and singalongs with relevant information about the ecology of the salt marshes, the resident dolphins, etc. When the crew offered to take our pictures at the end I thought it was to sell them to us but they actually used our cameras and did it as a kind gesture! And sunset over the bridge was spectacular, so perfect evening!

Great tour, lots of dolphins! - This tour greatly surpassed my expectations! We saw so many dolphins and were able to get really close. The boat had a roof so there was shade and seats for everyone. We had fun and learned a lot. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see wildlife, learn about history and ecology, and spend a couple of hours on the water.

Awesome Adventure - What a great adventure into the Savannah Salt Marshes! Connor and Jeff the tour guides were extremely knowledgeable. Saw lots of wild life including many pods of dolphins

Wonderful nature experience - Excellent crew that provided a wonderful nature experience. Very knowledgeable with a great delivery of information. Saw lots of wildlife including dolphins, bald eagle, blue herons and various other wildlife

Wonderful Experience - Close interactions with dolphins. We learned a lot about sea life and the history of the Savannah. For example, I never knew that the man that founded the city (Mr. Oglethorpe) made slavery against the law. Slavery was never allowed in Savannah, GA. That was impressive.

Definitely do this tour! - Views were amazing and so were Capt. Birdie and ? Didn’t see dolphins til the end but that just meant we spent an extra 15 minutes on the water. Very relaxing and informative. Highly recommend!

Pleasant lowcountry cruise - We love cruising around lowcountry marshes/inlets - great ride, some good information. Captain and first mate were both professional and knowledgeable. Captain worried aloud about seeing dolphins, and was saw some on the way back, but, it's nature, so not guaranteed.
Waiting area left a lot to be desired in the hot sun (and it was just May).
