Nautilus Dive Center Aruba - Emmanuel was such a great and patient instructor. I had only tried diving in a swimming pool back home and once we saw the reefs I accidently held my breath I was so excited! We went to Mangel Halto instead and we swam in a shipwreck. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. Important note: gate 3 is by a parking lot to the right off the cruise ships.

Great beginner experience! - Had an incredible experience and now have the confidence to pursue PADI certification. I had one on one time with the instructor and learned so much. Lots of cool coral and fish to check out at baby beach :).

Lots of wait time for a good dive - Bulk of 4.5hr time is transport + paperwork+ 30 min training + waiting. Actual Dive time 30-45 min. Fernando did make it an awesome dive with all of the challenges of the first time divers. I think the Nautilus team should help to prepare the equipment and have another divemaster help prepare equipment and support the dive. That would reduce all of the wait time.

Great first dive experience - Izhar and Alba were great teachers! And it was so much fun learning how to dive even though it was a little more challenging than we expected it to be but they constantly checked to make sure we were ok. Only thing i regret is they didn’t offer to take any pictures and I didn’t ask bc I was trying to focus on what they taught us. So just make sure you ask! Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Not a good experience - My experience was poor. I had a panic attack. (Not having them before) I tried letting the instructor know several times that I was in distress. He ignored my signs. Kept pointing at the boat that was sunk and animal life. I then tried to focus on just my breathing, he then kept tapping on my shoulder to look at stuff which didn’t help. I ended up ignoring him because I thought I might pass out because I couldn’t breath. So I went up, he kept trying to stop me with grabbing my floatation buttons. When someone is trying to work through something like this. The last thing you need is someone tapping you to look at stuff. Unfortunately, I won’t be going again.
