Fun Kayaking & Sea Glass Collecting Experience - Our guide Richard was great. We kayaked to the island, escorted by Richard in his Zodiac. He helped us get into and out of our kayak, and he gave us interesting facts about the island with tips on collecting the sea glass. He took some pictures for us as well. Very friendly.

Seaglass Island in Aruba was a great experience! - We had a great time kayaking in the clear bottom kayak and exploring Seaglass Island in Aruba. Our tour guide was great, informative and enjoyable. We had a great time!

Nice family outing - Alex was friendly and a nice night out. Lots of clear, green and brown/orange glass. Saw a turtle swimming.

Sea glass picked over - People were very nice. The sea glass is picked over, mainly small pubbles. Kayak ride into the wind is a little work, fun going back. Something to do and baby beach is worth the extra drive.

Ingenious - Old clunky kayaks, out to an island littered with glass. Sea glass?? I highly doubt it as surrounding beaches are bare. A very good gimic. I applaud the ingenuity in turning it into a business. Superficially a great afternoon. Smells suspiciously like a dump though...

We enjoyed the trip, but... - We enjoyed the trip, but it was a bit unorganized for our group. The kayak portion was too short and only took about 15 minutes and the glass bottom kayaks are very difficult to see through- my husband didn’t even get one and was only given a regular kayak. We did collect some cool pieces of sea glass, but I probably wouldn’t do this one again.

Not like the photos! - The advertisement created different expectations than the reality. The kayak ride was very short, just crossing a small inlet to the man made island. There was nothing to see through the clear bottom kayak due to murky water and no fish. The tiny island was made of discarded glass and there was nowhere to sit. The purpose of the excursion seemed to be digging for sea glass which is what the island was made of. It was not a nice island, small and made of broken coral and glass. There was no opportunity of a bathroom for the whole excursion. The bottom of the water to swim in was grassy and the water was murky. One of the two men in charge came back into the van smelling of marijuana. I did not feel comfortable with him. I got a creepy feeling the way he was leaning on me during the van ride. It was definitely not worth the price. I do not recommend it.

Can't understand all the great reviews. - I am writing regarding the excursion we recently booked with your company. We chose your tour specifically because of the excellent reviews on TripAdvisor, and prior to the excursion, your communication was very good. Unfortunately, the actual experience fell far short of expectations. The driver who picked us up spoke very little English, which made communication difficult. His vehicle was extremely filthy, and he was barefoot with visibly dirty feet, which felt very unprofessional. The location where the excursion began looked nothing like the photos shown on TripAdvisor. The life jackets provided were disgustingly dirty and clearly had not been cleaned. Due to very rough water conditions, kayaking was not possible, and while we appreciated being offered the dinghy as an alternative, the overall experience continued to be disappointing. Once we arrived on the island, there was no guidance or explanation. We were simply handed a rake with no interaction or instruction. This was especially surprising, as your TripAdvisor photos show guides actively engaging with guests throughout the excursion. To add to the frustration, my mother-in-law was not allowed to bring her sea glass back onto the cruise ship, which we were not warned about in advance. For a cost of $95 per person, this excursion was absolutely not worth the price. Based on our experience, it is difficult to understand how your company has received such high reviews. This was a major disappointment and not what we expected based on your advertised experience. I wanted to bring these concerns to your attention and would appreciate your response.

Do NOT Trust - very shady business - We booked what was supposed to be a private kayak tour for Sea Glass Island 2 months in advance. The owner then triple-booked the same time window to make more money. *There was no instruction or guide *They took our kayaks (without telling us) while we were on glass island leaving us stranded for 1.5 hours *They cut our kayak trip short, we were not allowed to kayak back to the starting point because they booked another group

Might be the worst “tour” we’ve ever done! - This is not a tour! It’s a small island with fake seaglass dumped from a recycling plant.. There’s no guidance or help. The kayaking is less than 10 min! Do your self a favor and book something else! We were done and waiting for the driver after 45 min! Wasted all day driving there and waiting around!
