Hop into a cozy electric van in Sarlat and embark on a 1-hour journey, complete with photo opportunities, through the stunning landscapes of the Dordogne Valley, leading to Rocamadour. Rocamadour is renowned as one of France’s most picturesque medieval villages, dramatically perched against a cliff within the Alzou canyon, a historic UNESCO site with a rich history spanning a thousand years.

This guided tour offers insights into the legends that gave rise to this sacred location. Participants will stroll down the cross trail (with a lift available for the return), marvel at the miraculous chapel and its black virgin, the sarcophagus of St. Amadour carved into the cliff’s rock, and the legendary sword Durandal.

On the return journey, there will be a stop to explore a unique site: either the Cougnaguet medieval watermill (from April to October) or the Autoire medieval village (accessible year-round).
