The river tour was very special. - Our boat guide had expert eyes and located many creatures for us to view up close, including monkeys, crocodiles, iguanas, bats, and many birds. Following the tour, we had an amazing traditional lunch at Rancho Los Coyotes and enjoyed learning about Guaitil pottery. Everyone we met was extremely warm and friendly.

You will have an amazing time! - Harold and Charlie were amazing! They were friendly and knowledgeable. For an authentic Costa Rican experience, you can’t any better than this tour!

Best tour for seeing a variety of wildlife! - Issys was super easy to work with. We made a last minute decision to squeeze in a tour before leaving the country and they got us set up in less than 24 hours all via WhatsApp! Our guide (Nolberto) was absolutely fantastic and this tour did not disappoint. We had a lively discussion during the drive, saw more animals than we expected (crocodiles, iguanas, multiple types of herons, ibis, egrets, white faced monkeys), and had a delicious traditional lunch at a local ranch. We would definitely recommend Issys and this particular tour.

Pale Verde Boat tour for 4 - Boat ride was fun and saw several animals along the way as advertised! Nolberto was very knowledgeable and accommodating throughout the entire experience!

Palo Verde is. must! - our tour guide Luis was great! he was knowledgeable and so friendly!! highly recommend him. he had great information not only on Palo Berde but also general information on Costa Rica. even describing how the sugar field harvests work as we passed the fields along the way. the Pali Verde tour was fabulous. we saw monkeys up close and vcrocodiles and so many kinds of birds. great half day trip!!

Great tour with great guide - Great tour with an even great guide, Nolberto Hernandez. We saw monkeys, crocodiles and many water birds. Nolberto was so knowledgeable about every animal, the river, Costa Rican history, etc. He made the trip fun too! It was a perfect tour.

Palo Verde boat tour with amazing tour company! - This is an amazing tour with a fabulous company! We asked for a tour at the last moment and the company was very quick to respond with a yes for the very next day. Our guide arrived at 7:30 and on our way to the national park, we were able to drive through some local villages and enjoy seeing the area. At the national park, we boarded a boat and saw many different types of animals - crocodiles, many birds, multiple iguanas, a troop of monkeys, bats, and more. Our guide was very informative and highly knowledgeable about Costa Rica as well as most of central and south America. After the tour, we went to a local ranch for a very delicious typical Costa Rican lunch - homemade corn tortillas, rice and beans, slaw salad, veggie salsa, eggs, chicken, fresh juice and coffee. We watched the ladies make the tortillas on the open fire. Overall, it was a fabulous day with a great guide, and we would recommend the tour and especially this company 110%!!!

Christmas with the crocs - Noelberto is very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about wild life and Costa Rica preservation efforts. Highly recommend Solano as the boat captain! Saw many crocs , monkeys, owls, birds and iguanas!

Tour Operator a No Show! - We are supposed to be on our tour now but the tour operator never showed up at our scheduled pick up location and time. We arrived at 7:20am for a 7:30 scheduled pick up. By 8:30 the operator had not arrived. During that time I messaged the tour operator , ISSYS, 3 times never receiving a response. At 8:10 I called Viator directly and spoke with a helpful agent - he put me on hold while he called ISSYS directly - but he said they were not answering. He advised that we wait until 8:30 and if the operator did not arrive or communicate that we should leave and request a refund. It’s later in the day now and I still haven’t received any communication from the tour operator. Extremely disappointing!’

Disappointing - I was excited for this tour based on the reviews. However, I'm really disappointed. I reached out a few times prior to the tour to confirm time and pick up location was accurate. I never received a response. The morning of my tour I woke up and noticed they finally sent me a message. Unfortunately, they sent me a message after 11 pm the night before the tour saying their bus just broke down and all the other busses for the day were reserved. They asked if we could reschedule. While I understand things like that happen, we couldn't reschedule since we were going home the next day. I responded with that and asked for a refund since they had to cancel. I never heard anything back from them. I'm wondering if we could have rescheduled if they would have responded then or not. I had to contact Viator for a refund since the operator never got back to me.
