Beautifull day - I discovered some beautiful religious sites in Sarandë with the help of our very kind and knowledgeable tour guide.
His stories transported us to an ancient, mysterious time.
The Monastery of the Forty Saints is truly mystical. It was an extraordinary tour that I highly recommend.

Was a beautiful day!😃 - We visited churches, monasteries, mosques, and other religious heritage sites.
More than their architectural beauties, the diverse history of this country amazed us.

amazing day in saranda - What an outstanding Viator tour of Saranda’s ancient religious treasures! Our guide was a true expert – passionate, eloquent, and full of fascinating stories about Byzantine churches, Ottoman mosques, and hidden monasteries that most tourists never see. The sheer majesty and preserved beauty of these sacred sites is breathtaking; centuries of history literally surround you. I was especially touched by how the tour emphasized Albania’s unique religious harmony – seeing Christian frescoes, Islamic calligraphy, and Bektashi symbols side by side in perfect peace was truly inspiring. A perfect blend of history, architecture, and a powerful lesson in tolerance. 5 stars without hesitation!
